Rosetta woke up with startle and loud gasp and cold ice water splashed on her face.

Her eyes snapped open as she gasped for the air.

“Good morning sweetheart”

She heard that familiar voice and looked at him with her heavy eyelids. Her head was throbbing with pain.

“Bastard”

She mumbled.

“We will work on this attitude of yours, don’t worry… It’s just a beginning…”

Vlad Smirked.

Rosetta was tied to the chair, her hands were tightly cuffed to the metal chair and legs were bounded with the chain.

She was completely immobile and vulnerable in front of him. She was in the basement.

He was sitting in front of her like a king. his sleeves were folded and coat was resting on armchair.

“Fuck you”

She cursed angrily.

Vlad clenched his jaw and grabbed her chin harshly.

“Don’t worry, we will fuck darling… But you need to control your tongue… You will only open your mouth for two things…”

He whispered threateningly near her ear.

“Leave me… You will regret it Vlad…”

She warned.

Vlad chuckled maniacally.

“We’ll see about that… First of all let me enjoy this moment. Do you remember my words?… I told you, you will be at my mercy. You will beg…”

He said proudly.

“Time has come Rosetta…”

He trailed his nose on her neck and collar bone. Disgust crawled on her skin when he did that.

“You will be mine but before that I am going to break you. Your attitude, your pride and arrogance, I am going to crush it… You will forget everything and there will be only thing on your mind, me!.. I’ll be the only one for you…”

He released her chin with jerk.

“Is this how you want me to love you?”

She asked.

“Is this how you show your love?… By abusing me?”

Vlad scoffed.

“I tried… I tried to be a gentleman. I tried to be nice with you. I love you even after our fucked up family grounds… Your mother has killed my father. Still I am ready to love you, I don’t care about anything but you… I tried everything but you don’t care about anything… You don’t appreciate genuine efforts, you believed that fucking lier…”

Vlad sighed and stood up.

“This is your life now, get used to it… Because you won’t be able to see your family from now on… It will be just me and you.”

Rosetta stayed silent, she was just looking at him blankly. Vlad frowned at her, he was expecting screaming and cursing but she wasn’t even talking.

“Do whatever you want.”

She said tiredly.

Vlad gritted his jaw and turned towards his men.

“No matter what, you will not touch her bounds.”

He warned.

“I’ll personally kill you if her chair moves even an inch…”

“Yes boss”

The guard replied with fearful eyes.

Vlad looked at Rosetta who was looking at the wall blankly.

“Don’t give her food… Let her starve. She doesn’t need energy right now…”

He ordered.

“Just keep an eye on her… If something happens then call me immediately…”

Vlad was about to leave but Stopped and walked towards her. He freed her hair from the French braid and took out all pins from her hair.

Rosetta Closed her eyes frustratingly.

Vlad bend down and took off her shoes too.

“I almost forgot about it…”

He winked at her.

“Enjoy your alone time… Because we are getting married tomorrow…”

He declared and her stomach churned but she maintained her calm.

Vlad kissed her cheek and walked out leaving her in the basement with two guards.

Rosetta looked at guards and they turned they locked the door while keeping eyes on her.

Rosetta stayed silent, she threw her head back and closed her eyes. She was tired and feeling dizzy due to drug. Sleep quickly engulfed her as soon as she closed her eyes.

She woke up after few hours when she felt large hand On her cheek. She sneezed and started shivering as her clothes were still wet due to cold water.

She has no idea for how much time has been passed.

“I am taking you to my room… I can’t keep you here”

Vlad informed.

“Don’t make me regret it… Otherwise I’ll make sure you spend your whole life in this rusty room.”

Rosetta nodded tiredly.

Vlad freed her from the bounds and looked at her suspiciously. He was expecting her to fight but she didn’t, she stayed silent.

He stood straight and stepped back to see if she does something or not. He knew she will start fighting and he was ready to teach her good lesson.

“Come with me”

He ordered her.

Rosetta stood up and took a step ahead but as soon as she did that she lost her balance. Vlad quickly grabbed her before she hit the ground.

“What the fuck”

He cursed.

He pulled her up and saw that she is unconscious. He patted her cheek.

“Rosey… Wake up”

He gently shook her but she respond with small weak mumble.

Vlad cursed looking at her state. He picked her up in bridal style and went outside. Rosetta was struggling to keep her eyes open.

Vlad went outside and walked towards his room through his security guards. It was tight and mansion was highly protected. His mansion was surrounded by his men.

Vlad was opening every door with eye scanner and it will be extremely difficult for any other person to move inside the mansion without his permission.

He reached his room and placed her on the bed. His room was royal, like chamber of king.

“I didn’t drugged you that much…”

He said looking at her suspiciously. He touched her forehead to check her temper.

“You have a fever… Take a rest…”

He said and walked out of the room.

Rosetta covered herself with duvet and turned on her side. Her eyes filled with tears when she remembered how skyler took care of her when she had fever. He was taking care of her all night and Vlad didn’t even give her clothes to change. She wiped her tears and closed her eyes, she was feeling tired and cold. Her clothes were still wet.

Vlad came back after few hours, he was checking his security. He has got his hands on her after so long and after trying so hard. He knew her family will do everything to take her back and he was ready for it. No one can enter his mansion without his permission, not even her mother. Vlad knows if her mother managed to enter in his house then it’s finished. That’s why he was planning to fly back to Russia as soon as possible.

Before something happens he have to manipulate Rosetta. He was planning to marry her so he can legally claim her and that will be difficult too because he knows that skyler haven’t sign the divorce papers.

As soon as he opened the door, his eyes fell on the bed which was empty.
