Salute To The General

Chapter 3671 Plan To Sow Discord

When the pirates found themselves surrounded, they were frantically running in circles. Barok of the Crimson Moon Fleet was also in conversation with Digby of Steel Wings.

Barok said, "Even though we knew there were quite a few pirates gathered here, there are even more than we imagined!"

Digby's tone turned a bit serious. "Yes. I just got the news. Apparently, The Formidable Five are here, along with a good number of other large and small pirate groups."

Barok said, "It seems we need to request for backup."

Digby said, "We need backup, but our home planet can't provide support in such a short time. I'm afraid our reinforcements might not arrive in time before they desperately break through."

Barok frowned slightly. "We underestimated the number of pirates here, and we didn't expect The Formidable Five to be here! If they forcefully break through, I'm afraid we won't be able to stop them. Also, it could also result in certain casualties." Digby laughed. "I have a plan."

Barok's eyes lit up. "Let's hear it!"

Digby said, "These pirates tried to break through just now, but we gave them a hard blow. I guess they wouldn't dare to try again for a while. I suggest we employ a strategy of divide and conquer, breaking them apart and defeating them individually." Barok said, "Be more specific."

Digby said, "We can tell the pirates that our mission is to retrieve the stolen God's Punisher Spaceship, and our target is The Formidable Five. If the rest of the pirates join us, we can take down The Formidable Five. Once we've done that, we can spare their lives. If they refuse to cooperate, they can't blame us for wiping them out completely."

Upon hearing that, Barok laughed heartily and said, "Great idea. Pirates are inherently every man for himself. Given their selfish nature, once they hear our terms, there's bound to be conflict between The Formidable Five and the rest of them. It'll inevitably lead to a fight." With a cold smirk, Digby said, "Let them fight amongst themselves first, then we'll take them all down."

Toothless and the other pirates were in an endless debate about whether to fight or break through the encirclement together.

Suddenly, two link requests popped up on the communication screen.

The communication request surprisingly came from a spaceship of the Gods.

Toothless and the other pirates exchanged glances with each other.

Octaclaw asked, "The Gods want to communicate with us?"

Rocky asked, "What are they trying to do?"

Bluer asked, "Should we establish a communication link with them?"

Everyone instinctively turned their gaze toward Toothless.

After all, Toothless was the King of Space Pirates, so he held the highest prestige there.

Toothless said, "I think it would be good to hear what they have to say. What do you guys think?" Everyone agreed unanimously.

The pirates agreed to the requests of the two signals from the Gods.

Soon, two imposing figures appeared on the communication screen.

One was Barok, inside the flagship of the Crimson Moon Fleet.

The other one was Digby inside the flagship of the Steel Wings.

Upon seeing Toothless, Digby's eyes were filled with an exceptional rage, as if seeing his sworn enemy. He said coldly, "Toothless, you son of a gun! How dare you steal a Gods spaceship, and even dare to ambush our Steel Wings, causing the death of General Torii? There's no escaping your fate today!"

The pirates' expressions changed when they heard that.

Everyone stared at Toothless in shock. So, it was you who stole the God's Punisher Spaceship? You poked the hornet's nest of the Gods!

After that, Barok slowly said,

"Everyone, our goal this time is to

recover the stolen spaceship, God's Punisher Spaceship. The primary targets are Toothless, Bluer, Solo, Octaclaw, and Rocky. We have no intention of harming innocent bystanders."

Those words startled The Formidable Five.

Those pirate captains who thought they were unrelated were filled with ecstatic joy. "Respected generals of the Gods, since we are not your targets, why not spare us this time? Show us some leniency and let us, the unrelated ones, leave?"

Octaclaw hurriedly said, "Generals of

the Gods, I certainly did not

participate in stealing your God's Punisher Spaceship, nor did we attack your fleet. This has nothing to do with me! Could you please understand my situation and let me go?" novelbin
