At that moment, a dozen black sedans screeched to a halt at the entrance of Oceanus Club.

“There's no need for such drastic measures,” Nathan said calmly. “Stand guard with the Elite Eight out here, and don't let a single one of them escape. I will go in with Colin and Sevan to meet them."

Ava was worried. "Your injury has not fully healed, Mr. Cross. I'm afraid that—"

Since he had put it that way, Ava heeded his instructions and arranged for men to stand guard at every exit.

The scar-faced man scowled. "It looks like you're here to cause trouble. Well then, consider yourselves warned. Break their legs and throw them out onto the streets!"

"Yes, sir!"

The security guards flanking their scar-faced leader lunged at Nathan and the others like hungry predators.
