Lux and the other vampire princes stared at Max in utter disbelief. “What?”

"Did you just say the Patriarch wants us to find the Four Human Spirits and conduct the ritual to awaken him?”

"That's right. Those were the Patriarch's exact words," Max replied calmly. "From now onward, other than you thirteen vampire princes, I have the authority to deploy any of the elites from the other clans."

Lux turned to Lyanna, who quietly nodded, proving that everything Max had said was true.

As much as he hated it, Lux had no choice but to hide his displeasure. After all, no one in their right mind would dare go against the almighty leader. "Since it's the Patriarch's orders, we'll do as he says."

Upon hearing that, Vivien felt a jolt of anger. "Regret? No way! I'm even more excited to take on Eurasia's God of War now! I can't wait to bring Nathan's head back and see the sorry look on your face."
