Salute To The General

Chapter 3066

Chapter 3066

Boom!

Nathan's and Max's fists collided against each other again.

In the face of the resulting force, Nathan stood steadily still while Max was thrown backward by a few steps.

Nathan commented calmly, "Your strength has significantly increased since our last fight at Lady Freedom Harbor. I'm amazed at how you managed it in such a short time, but it's a shame that it isn't enough to defeat me still."

Max had exchanged more than two hundred moves with Nathan, yet he failed to take him down.

He was instead so shaken by the gargantuan force behind Nathan's attacks that he could feel the spike in his blood pressure and hear ringing in hisBelonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

ears.

Gripped by shock and fury, he declared, "I wasn't planning on using this, but it's clear that I must go all out now."

Without a moment's hesitation, Max no longer held back, accelerating the flow of blood within him.

Boom!

A reddish-black aura was emitted from his body.

After that, his muscles, like balloons, swelled to double their size, ripping his top apart.

What shocked Colin and Hepburn even more was that a pair of wings made of bones grew rapidly out of his back.

Standing in the dark of the night, Max looked like a terrifying demon who had crawled out of hell.

Even Nathan furrowed his brows at that sight.

Meanwhile, Hepburn commented in a quivering voice, "Wings made of bones... He has them! Only vampires who possess the power of princes have them."

With his eyes widened, Colin exclaimed in disbelief, "Oh my, gosh! Oh my, God! This guy is actually a vampire and a prince at that?”

As a glint of surprise flashed across Nathan's eyes, he was struck by an epiphany.

"Back then, I wondered how you survived when I clearly killed you at Lady Freedom Harbor. I was certain you had zero chance of remaining alive, yet you appeared unscathed on television a few days after that. When I couldn't make sense of what happened, I simply chalked it up to your stubborn will to live and pure luck. But now, it's evident that turning into a vampire was what saved your life."

In response, Max puffed two plumes of white smoke out of his nostrils. A murderous aura radiated from his body as he slowly spoke. "Now that you've all known my secret, this night shall be your last."

Nathan chuckled. "You couldn't even beat me just now. Do you think you stand a better chance just because you transformed into something disgusting?"

Max snorted in response. "We won't know until we try!"

With that, his wings began to flap before he charged at Nathan at lightning speed, throwing a punch at the latter's face.

Nheless, Nathan managed to intercept the attack with his hand.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Max unleashed a series of attacks that combined thunder-like punches and kicks that fired out like cannonballs.

In spite of that, Nathan parried all the blows successfully.

However, just as he had intercepted the attacks, Max twisted his torso and stabbed his left wing-which looked like a huge red blade made of bone— in his direction.

The blade cut through the air at an unbelievable speed.

If one were to be slashed by it, one would instantaneously be cut in two halves.

Cognizant of the danger posed by the blade-like wing, Nathan swiftly leaned backward to dodge it.

Upon missing the first time, Max brandished his wings vigorously and slashed them at Nathan as if they were two giant swords.

With the combination of his punches and kicks, he seemed to have six limbs, and he utilized them all to force Nathan to move backward. After retreating a total of thirty-one steps, Nathan successfully avoided all of Max's blows.

Only then did he begin his counterattack.

Seizing upon a weakness he spotted within Max's attack, Nathan launched a blistering strike with his right hand.

As the glint of steel flashed from his sleeve, it looked like a snowflake drifting through the air on a snowy day.

It was none other than Snowsphere!

Swoosh!

A bleeding cut appeared right on Max's chest.

"Urgh!"

Howling in agony, Max backed away by more than ten meters before he managed to steady himself.

When he lowered his gaze to check, he was greeted by the sight of the cut.

The next second, the cut burst open abruptly, forming a gruesome wound with blood gushing out of it.

Max let out an eerie roar before fleeing into the darkness.

Nathan's initial response was to hunt him down. However, the moment be prepared himself to lunge forward, he inadvertently caused his old wounds to dehisce. With his brows twitching from the overwhelming pain, he finally decided against the pursuit. to

After all, he had overexerted himself previously and was currently in the recuperating stage. Thus, he had to avoid straining his body further for fear of any long-term sequelae. to

When Colin attempted to give chase, Nathan stopped him. "Let him go. Besides, you're no match for him,

even if you manage to catch up

Instead, deploy the elites of the South Army to hunt them down this instant." to

"Yes, Mr. Cross!" Colin responded.
