Chapter 2998
Immediately, Kraven was surrounded by a large number of elites from Heavenly City.
Seeing that he got discovered, Kraven stopped sneaking around and opted for direct confrontation instead.
"Who are you? How dare you trespass?"
Four tall men in white combat suits arrived with their subordinates to encircle Kraven, who had intruded their place.
The four men in white were the Four Angels of Heavenly City, namely Raimond the Battle Angel, Vector the Angel of Death, Angus the Guardian Angel, and Winson the Fallen Angel.
The Four Angels were even more powerful than the Twelve Rooms.
However, their sole duty was to look over Heavenly City, and they weren't involved in other missions.
The man who was questioning detachedly was Raimond, the leader among the Four Angels. This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
"It's been eons since anyone last called me by name, so I've already forgotten about it. I'm but a servant of my master," Kraven answered nonchalantly.
A servant?
Raimond exchanged glances with the other Angels.
It wasn't until then that they noticed the elderly man in a Eurasian outfit had a sword casing on his back.
Raimond narrowed his eyes. "Haha. Who's your master, and why did he send you here?"
"Nobody sent me," Kraven said calmly.
“Don't you dare say you've lost your way? Every year, there would be a few who thought too highly of themselves that would come barging their way in, only to never leave again." Raimond's tone was menacing. "I've seen a lot of people like you. Get ready to be imprisoned for life if you do not come clean!"
Kraven lifted his head to stare at Raimond dispassionately. "You said that people are captured and imprisoned here every year. Is my master among them?"
In the beginning, Raimond frowned, but he quickly unfurrowed his brows with a smirk. "I know now why you're here. You're thinking of rescuing your master. Who is he? Was it due to his imprisonment that you came on this one-way trip?"
Kraven ignored his jest while announcing, "My master is Lothar Macmaster. I'll leave right away if you release him. If you don't, I will make hell out of your heavenly abode."
Lothar Macmaster?
Raimond was startled as he turned to meet his companions' gazes.
Is there someone by that name in the prison?
I don't think so!
All four of them had an eidetic memory, so they should've known if someone by that name was imprisoned.
Yet, none of them could recall anyone by that name.
Raimond narrowed his eyes. Doesn't matter if that Lothar's in there. This servant had trespassed anyway, so he won't leave here alive.
“Since you came for your master, go search for him in prison,” he taunted coldly.
With that, he waved his arm at his subordinates. "Go get him."
"Yes, sir!"
Immediately, a man in a horned

Kraven maintained a blank expression as he stated, "Dying is as easy as a snap."
What?
The man with the horned helmet and a way bulkier body glared at Kraven upon hearing that.
Such insolence! This old geezer from Eurasia is absolutely insolent!
The man exclaimed, "Since you seek death, I shall deliver it to you!"
Then, he launched himself at Kraven with his heavy sword in hand, swinging it down at the latter's face mercilessly.
It was a powerful blow, for the man could indeed be considered an elite of his time.
Nheless, Kraven snorted as if showing disdain.
By the instant the man's sword was

Clang!
The man's right arm fell to the ground alongside his sword.
The bewildered expression on his face contorted into that of pain as he was about to wail.
And yet, Kraven had made a lightning-quick second strike before the man could let out his wail.
Slash!
That strike cut the man's head clean off.
Kraven raised his leg to kick the beheaded corpse away from him.
The guards around him couldn't help but yelp, whereas the Four Angels frowned.
Still holding his whip sword, Kraven announced cold-bloodedly, "Release my master, or else there'll be a bloodbath."
