Salute To The General

Chapter 2539

Then, several soldiers hurriedly approached Dante to help the man remove the combat suit.

Grimacing in pain on the floor, Dante desperately gasped for air.

Because of the level of fidelity the system could provide, Dante felt as if he had been hit by a truck.

Even though the fatal punch did not actually kill Dante, he suffered the pain of getting his skull cracked open virtually.

Like a man who had just narrowly escaped death, Dante was drenched in cold sweats and was as pale as a ghost.

Dante was glad that it was only a virtual battle, for he would have been dead for sure had he faced the Chief Military Governor of Eurasia in a real fight.

Accompanied by several of his subordinates, Gammon walked over to Dante with a displeased look. "That wasn't supposed to happen! I thought you were unbeatable, so what the heck happened, Dante?"

After summoning every bit of strength left in him, Dante got on his feet to greet the President. He wanted to explain himself but realized he had no idea how to do so. I can't just tell the President that Chief Cross is simply too powerful and that he and I are not on the same level.

In the end, Dante decided to keep silent and lower his head in utter defeat.

All the other Remdikians quickly put on a solemn expression when they noticed how displeased Gammon was.

At that point, Gammon was convinced that he had to send the elites instead of the less experienced ones in his army to compete with Nathan.

While the Remdikian army was still considering who should go against Nathan next, Gammon had already pointed his finger at someone. "Rogan, it's your turn to show Chief Cross what you're made of. Let's see if Eurasia is really superior to Remdik!"

As soon as Gammon finished his sentence, a burly, seven-foot-tall general in jet-black military boots marched forward and responded, "Yes, President Gammon!"

It turned out that the

fearsome-looking man was Rogan Torsney, one of the top three most powerful warriors in the Remdikian army, who was also known as the Siberian Tiger. The four stars on his shoulder showed that he was one of the few Tiger-ranked officers in Remdik.

Rogan's combat capability was only second to Leopold, a five-starred Lion King and Remdik's God of War.

Sending Rogan to fight Nathan proved that Gammon had the utmost respect for the Chief Military Governor's strength.

It did not take long before Rogan was done putting the high-tech combat suit on with a few soldiers' help.

Then, a bulky figure appeared beforeText content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Nathan in the virtual battleground.

Gazing at the equally tall Chief Military Governor of Eurasia, the Siberian Tiger introduced himself. "I'm Regan Torsney, a four-star Tiger of the Remdikian army, and Ive been réquested by President Gammon himself to challenge you to a duel."

"So you're the famous Siberian Tiger! Your reputation precedes and I'm honored to have you as my opponent today," responded Nathan with a smile.

Even though Rogan was well-known

for his exceptional strength, he showed no sign of arrogance. "As,

am I. Let's get down to business et

shall we, Chief Cross?" "Very well. Come!" taunted Nathan in response as be once again got into his military fighting stance.

Although the form was quite basic, Nathan managed to turn it into a show of power nheless.

It had been a while since Rogan last had a worthy opponent, so he was all fired up to battle Nathan.

To ready himself, Rogan cracked his neck and both his hands to loosen himself up.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The formidable power housed inside that muscular body was roaring to be released.

Gammon could not help but smile with satisfaction as he looked at Rogan on the screen.

Even though that was not the first time he saw Rogan get ready for a fight, Gammon was very excited for the four-star Tiger had yet to disappoint

him.
