~REX’S POV~

My wife came over to me as I was crawling into bed, wrapping her arms around my waist and resting her head on my ribcage.

I’m conflicted about whether to inquire about the tattoo. If I spoil tonight, I will never forgive myself. That is to say, it feels incredible to have her this near. It is not every day that I am able to lull her to sleep in this manner. Depending on where I am, I am either on the floor or on the same bed as the suspect. I’m only going to inquire about the tattoo.

I hastened to bed. Pressing her brow. Snooze!” She immediately fell asleep. I then transformed into Ben. I couldn’t abandon her in that state. I dashed into the restroom. I am still perplexed. Is she truly Reina? If she is genuinely my Reina, she would be without a mate. She is incapable of shifting. She has no idea who she is. My alleged mate is a Lycan. Juno does not resemble one.

“Keep your mouth shut! You’re preoccupied with whining like a human girl in her periods. If you look for flaws, you will undoubtedly come across them. Is it possible that Alaric is completely right? Could mother have permitted Zeus to do such a thing?

I believe I may have responded inappropriately and scared my Reina. I strolled into the throne room and called my mother’s attention to the situation. I just don’t want to think that Alaric was correct. If this is true, then where has he been hiding all this time? How did my Reina become ensconced in a pack? In theory, she should have been living with a loving family. That way, I’d know just where to seek her. Could this be the reason I couldn’t find her all this time? If so, why did Zeus leave her on the streets? Could it be that he was still in love with her? I swear I’d kill him if I had the chance.

“Selene, I do not have the entire day at my disposal. If you do not come out, the situation will deteriorate.”

“The only issue I have with you, son, is your lack of regard for me. At the very least, your brother does.

Thus, my twin brother has returned, and my mother has concealed this fact from me. I have my doubts about her. She was aware of Reina’s whereabouts and kept it a secret.

Could it be that Zeus morphed into a wolf and assumed the role of an alpha, and my Reina was his Luna? Was Zeus successful in getting my Reina to sleep with him? Oh worse, did he rape her?
