Chapter 3

Chapter 3

"a pair of balls, and we're done..." I muttered to myself as I completed the masterpiece on his forehead. I almost pissed myself thinking of his reaction when he realizes it.

Right when I finished the drawing, Jungkook stirs awake, almost giving me a cardiac arrest. I smiled nervously at him, but he seemed unfazed that I was beside him.

"...Soojung" he mumbled sleepily, blinking a few times. His hand made their way to mine, holding it firmly.

"wha......let go of me!" I whispered aggressively to him as I couldn't talk loudly. He doesn't seem to budge, so I hit his head lightly with a book to wake him up.

Jungkook squeezes my hand, before jostling to his fully awaken state.

"It's polkadot girl" he grins at me, lying on hand which was still tightly interlocked with mine. He rubbed circles on my palm teasingly.

Normally I would've been flustered, but seeing the drawing on his forehead, I had to hold back my laughter and put on my best pokerface.

"I came to tell you that I'll ace tomorrow's test, so watch out." I acted normally, eyeing him with determination. Jungkook plays with my fingers, his eyes staring at them as he did. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

"It would be the same outcome," he looks up at me, his cheeks pressing on his arm. "why bother?"

"tsk...let go before I cut your hand off." I shot a murderous glare at him.

Since the boy didn't move a muscle yet again, I just forcefully pulled away from his grasp. He immediately follows me as I took my bag and scurried out of the library.

"If I top the test tomorrow, I get your number" Jungkook proposes, making my blood boil. It's as if he was so confident about it, and there's no way - no way I'm letting that happen.

"Sure thing, and what do I get?" I turned towards him, who was slightly bothered by the students who passed by, holding back their laughter.

"you get to order me around for 3 days" he replies conceitedly. I beamed in delight at the ingenious idea, how great it would be for me to teach this prick a lesson he won't forget.

"Deal." I nodded with satisfaction, showing him a thumbs down sign to mock him.

Jungkook's lips turn up in amusement, and he starts to approach me until a student suddenly interrupted us.

"Oh Jungkook....you look....handsome." the male student chuckled, almost our of breath.

"What's with you and the others?" He raises his eyebrow in confusion, scanning the area that was full of students that crowded up and were pointing at him.

And thats when something clicked in him. Jungkook instantly pulls out his phone, his eyes darting to the reflection on the screen. I felt rising bloodlust as he did so, his glare shooting right through my body.

"Well....I've got to go.." I laughed nervously, turning around to flee the scene of crime.

"hold up," Jungkook gripped my wrist, and I could feel his anger when he squeezed it tightly. He eyed me like he wanted to murder me right then and there.

"Did you just draw a dick on my face?" he questioned with a menacing voice.

"I used permanent marker" I confessed, trying my hardest not to burst out in laughter. He runs a hand across his face frustratedly, not knowing what to say.

"That's it, Soojung. I'm declaring war." he lets go of my hand, staring into my eyes with fury.

"Oh? Try me." I replied back nonchantly, not a single shred of fear found inside me.

"NOOOOOO!" I slammed my head on the table, the test paper flying to the floor. I was beyond frustrated. I was pissed.

"99? What a shame." I could hear the jerk beside me, bending down to pick up the test paper. I quickly wiped off my angry tears, swiping the paper out of his hand.

"Number?" he smirks, tilting his head to the side cockily.

I was filled with despair and agony. He challenged me, and I lost to him.

"I'm not even going to respond to you" I reluctantly typed my contact into his phone, pressing a tad bit hard on the screen.

"Hey, exert less pressure please. This isn't Nokia, it's iPhone." Jungkook reads the number, before spamming the backspace on my contact name.

"What did you rewrite as my name?!" I tried to grab his phone back, but as usual, he dodged it efficiently and effortlessly. I was left to wonder about what on earth my contact name on his phone was.

"I'll text you tonight. Make sure to see it, it's about the upcoming election campaigns" he leans over closer to me, whispering into my ear.

"Election campaigns...." I mumbled to myself, thinking of the top goals I had when I entered this school - to become the president of the student council.

"Wait, don't tell me, you're...." I frowned at him, doom taking over my senses.

"You're completely right" He leans on the table opposite of me, a smug smirk plastered on his face.

"I'm running for President."
