Sophie's sudden move caught Timothy off guard, and he instinctively wanted to step back. Yet, the thought of gaining her trust kept him rooted in place.

Noticing Timothy's clear unease, Sophie couldn't help but arch an eyebrow. It was obvious she'd left a mark on him these past few days.

Upstairs, Colby made his way down and joined Sophie. The moment Timothy noticed Colby approaching, he backed off immediately.

Colby murmured, "I saw that little exchange."

"Just having some fun with him," Sophie grinned. "This poor guy thinks playing the innocent card will make me feel sorry for him. He's scared stiff, but still tries to brave it out. It's a riot." "You're in such a playful mood?" Colby chuckled, lightly tapping her forehead. "Aren't you worried I'll get a bit jealous?"

"Jealous of a seventeen-year-old kid? Please," Sophie laughed, pulling out her phone and showing Colby the screen. "Now, this is something to actually get jealous over." Colby glanced at the screen. The trending news didn't faze him until the names James and Gordon appeared, prompting him to look away. "Give me a sec," he said. "For what?"

"To take it down."

Colby's fingers danced over his phone screen with impressive speed, making Sophie stifle a laugh.

The news had spread like wildfire, and Sophie knew it was too late for Colby to do much about it now.

As expected, Tricia said, "This news isn't going anywhere. I jumped on it first thing this morning with a PR plan, but it's like someone's paid to keep it alive. Every article we pull, another pops up. Someone's definitely out to damage your reputation."

Sophie replied, "With all these photos, it's no small matter. Whoever's behind this wants to

smear my name, but I've got a plan to handle it."

"But Ms. Sophie, there's an emergency meeting at the company. You need to come back."

Sophie frowned, "It's just some news. What's going on at the company?"

"The shareholders and partners are in an uproar, and an important visitor is expected today. You must be there, Ms. Sophie."
