Chapter 1137
Sandy was pushing her way through the crowd with Odie, tears streaming down her cheeks. She hadn't noticed that with every word she uttered, Odie's face grew paler. A survival game?
How familiar that sounded.
Barely anyone made it out of such games alive.
Could someone as delicate as Sophie really last two hours?
She had found a safe zone but chose to lead others there, drawing fire to herself.
Was she out of her mind?
"Boss..."
"Find her!" Odie commanded, barely containing his rage. "Even if you have to tear this place apart, find Sophie!"
"Yes, sir!"
Sandy collapsed to the ground, utterly defeated.
She never thought she'd face something so terrifying.
Surrounded by glitz and glamour, she always believed the world was beautiful.
She had no idea it had such a dark and frightening side.
"We found her! We found her!"
Someone shouted, and Odie immediately turned toward the voice.
Colby was slowly coming down the stairs, carrying Sophie in his arms. She was draped in his jacket, utterly exhausted, resting against him. "Shen..."
Odie instinctively wanted to go to her but hesitated, stopping in his tracks.
Sophie gently tapped Colby's shoulder, whispering, "Put me down, I can walk."
"Alright."
Colby gently set her down, wrapping the jacket tightly around her.
Seeing Sophie alive, Sandy finally broke down, sobbing uncontrollably. "Oh my God! You're alive! It's so good... so good you're alive!" Sandy hugged Sophie tightly, her tears and snot staining Colby's jacket.
Colby frowned slightly behind Sophie.
That jacket... was a goner.
"I'm not dead yet, why does it feel like you're mourning me?"

whispered. Seeing her condition, et
Odie scoffed, "I thought Sophie had more in her, but she's exhausted after just two hours?"
"Thanks for your cold comfort, Mr. Odie. Your people... sure arrived quickly."
Sophie's words had a sting, and Odie glanced at the group behind him, the bodyguards all lowering their heads in shame.
They had no idea something so serious had happened here!
Sandy, with disdain, said, "And you said Summerfield was your territory.
What happened? Someone pulled

fast one on you right under your
nose. Seems like you're not as dominant in Summerfield as the
rumors suggest."
"What did you say?" Odie's eyes filled with menace. "Believe it or not, I..."
"Sophie, I feel all sticky and gross. I just want to go back, take a shower, and sleep. Let's get out of this dreadful place now."
Sandy completely ignored Odie.
Sophie truly had no energy left and said to Colby behind her, "Let's go back, Colby." "Okay."
Sophie held out her arms, and Colby naturally picked her up.
Before leaving, Sophie didn't forget to say to Odie, "Oh, Mr. Odie, please handle the mess here. It might keep you busy, but I'm sure you won't complain."
