Return of the Bad Boy Alpha Chapter 14
Phoebe
I walked between my parents to the hotel we were staying. Brutus was silently following us. I glanced back at him every so often, and he would smile softly at me. My mother squeezed my hand.
"It's okay to talk to him, sweetie," she says to me. I shake my head. "You aren't scared of him, are you?" Mom asks me.
"N-no," I sputter out.
"Then why are you trembling?" Dad cuts in.
"I'm not scared, you guys," I nearly yell. I glance back at Brutus, and he looks sad. I sigh. "I just don't know what to think about him," I whisper to my parents.
"No one ever knows what to think when they first meet their mate," Mom laughs. "Hell, the day I met your father, I ran away and broke my ankle."
Dad glances at her. "She sure did."
"Really?" I laugh. "You never told us that."
"You know that I am a gamma by blood," Mom explains. "The thought of being a Luna scared me, but then your father found me and carried me to the hospital," Mom looks at Dad while speaking. "He was so sweet and gentle." Dad smiles, "And she was or is still so beautiful." They lean in to kiss each other.
"Eww," I groan.
They both laugh. Mom nudges me. "Talk to him," She encourages. "He seems like a nice enough guy, and Magnus likes him."
I take a deep breath and glance at Brutus. He smiles again, and I have to admit that he is pretty hot. He is built like a house and muscle on top of muscle. I imagine myself riding the anaconda he probably has. He has short brown hair and soulful brown eyes. "Are you checking me out?" He asks, and I feel myself blush and look away while Mom giggles.
"She sure was," Mom speaks up.
"Mom!" I yelp.
"It's okay because I was checking you out too," Brutus chuckles. "You have a nice butt." My father lets out a growl and glares at my mate. Brutus holds up his huge a*s hands. "Sorry, Alpha."
Mom smacks Dad's arm. "Knock it off, Darryl."
"I'm not quite used to hearing about men checking out my little girl, Jan," He shoots back.
"She's not a little girl, Darryl. And he isn't some man. He is her mate," Mom smiles at Brutus. "I think it's cute."
We reach the hotel, and Brutus turns to leave. "You can come up with us, Brutus," Dad invites him. He looks at me. "To talk."
I blush and smile at Brutus. "Thank you, Alpha. That's all I ask for."
We go inside and up to our two-bedroom suite. There is a living area with two couches and a small kitchen with a wet bar. I sit on one couch with my mother while Brutus takes up the other couch. Dad pours drinks at the bar. "I hope you are old enough to drink, Brutus," Dad says.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
"I am a year older than Magnus, sir," Brutus replies.
Dad hands him a glass with brown liquor. "Good," He gives Mom and I wine coolers. "So tell us about yourself, Brutus. Sorry, it's a bit awkward."
Brutus sips his drink. "It's fine, sir."
"You can call me Darryl," Dad says to Brutus.
"It's a force of habit, sir," Brutus takes another sip. "As I said, I am a bear wolf hybrid."
"That is so unusual," Mom cuts in.
"Jan let the man talk," Dad admonishes my mother.
Brutus laughs. "You two remind me of my parents."
"Are they still alive?" Mom asks him.
My mate nods. "Very much, Ma'am. They are so much in love like you two."
"Oh, I would love to meet them," Mom coos.
"Pa was to be the Alpha of the Sierra Rojo Pack, and Ma was from the Vermillion Bear Clan. The pack and the bear clan were fierce rivals. So, of course, Pa fell in love with Ma
"Oh, like Romeo and Juliet," My mother claps.
"Jan!" Dad barks at her.
Brutus laughs. "Yeah, you can say that only they didn't kill themselves." He smiles at me. "Pa rejected his fated mate for Ma. That angered my Grandfather so much he kicked Pa out of the pack and named my Uncle Roger as the next Alpha." "I thought your last name sounded familiar," Dad chimes in. "I have met Roger. He is a pretty nice guy."
Brutus downs his drink. "After Pa was kicked out of the pack, he and Ma became rogues. Because well, Ma's clan wasn't happy with her either. So they became rogues until King Cadmus allowed them to live here in the royal pack. Pa started training warriors while Ma became a teacher. After my Grandfather passed, Uncle Roger allowed Ma and Pa back into the pack. He and Pa never stopped talking to each other. So my parents moved to Sierra Rojo with my little sisters."
"Oh, you have sisters," Mom claps her hands. "Are they hybrids too?"
Brutus shakes his head. "Nadine is a wolf, and Lydia is a bear. I sort of envy them. Having two animals in my head is not that fun." His eyes glaze over. "Yeah, yeah," He mumbles.
"So you can shift into a bear or a wolf?" Dad asks, and Brutus nods.
"Yes," Brutus laughs. He looks at me. "And they both want you," He smiles and reaches his hand out to me. I just stare at it, and my mother nudges me.
"Well, Darryl and I are exhausted," Mom stands up and stretches, then grabs my father by the shoulder. "Right, Darryl?"
Dad hesitates but stands up. "Yes, Jan. Of course." He eyes Brutus. "You-"
Brutus holds up his hands. "I won't mate with her tonight, sir."
"That's not what I was going to say but thank you," Dad chuckles. "Goodnight, Phoebe."
Mom leans down and kisses my cheek. "I want grandpups," She whispers.
"Mom!" I squeak, and she laughs while pushing my father into their room. I am left alone with Brutus. I stare at the ground for a moment.
"Are you still scared of me?" Brutus asks gently. "I'm sorry if I scared you earlier."
I shake my head. "I-I'm not scared," I fidget nervously. My wolf Kiara has been in my head urging me to kiss Brutus already. "Kiara isn't scared.
"Is that your wolf?" Brutus asks, and I nod. "That's a pretty name. So is Phoebe. My wolf's name is Hendrix, and my bear's name is Shaddix." I look into his brown eyes and become lost in them. He moves over to my couch and takes my hand into his. My hand looks positively small in his. He brushes a strand of hair from my face.
"You are so beautiful, Phoebe. I will be everything you ever wanted in a mate. Major Mags told me you are quite the fighter," Brutus smiles. "I like my women feisty."
I let out a nervous laugh. "And, of course, I turn into a nervous wreck the moment I meet you."
He leans in, and his scent overwhelms me. Now I know who I have always loved honey on everything. "You smell like black licorice." He whispers against my ear. "Really?" I laugh.
"Most people don't like it, but I have always loved it," He starts to rub my arm.
"You smell like honey," I laugh. "A big ole bear that smells like honey." We both laugh while leaning into each other. The next thing I know is his lips are on mine. I let out a satisfied moan, and the next thing I know, I am straddling him while we devour each other. I can feel him getting hard, and I stop. I slide off of him, and he lets out a whimper. I reach my hand out to him. "Come on." He clasps my hand, and I lead him into my room and close the door. I take off my shirt and bra, and he growls.
"We don't have to do anything to-"
I interrupt him by pushing him towards the bed. "I'm sure Shaddix and Hendrix would disagree with you."
He pauses with a devilish grin and pulls me into his strong arms. "You would be correct." He plants his lips on mine.
Ten minutes later, the bed is pounding against the wall while I scream in ecstasy as my mate pounds into me. I am no virgin, but it feels like the first time. With a loud growl, Brutus empties his seed into me and collapses beside me. We pant on our backs for a moment. "Wow," I huff out.
"Yeah," Brutus laughs.
I roll onto his broad, muscular chest. "Do you think my parents heard us?"
"I'm pretty sure the entire hotel heard us," Brutus laughs.
"I have to admit I was a little scared earlier. But I'm not so much now," I look into his eyes.
He brushes my cheek. "I was a little scared too."
"Really?"
Brutus runs his hand through my hair. "I thought you would reject me."
"Oh," I smile at him. "I, Phoebe Marie Bowie, accept you Brutus Julian as my mate and my forever."
"I, Brutus Mark Julian, accept you, Phoebe Bowie and my mate and forever and ever," He says.
We begin kissing again, and the next thing, I am riding his huge cock while my breasts bounce. "Oh gods," I cry out. I lean down, and he wraps his arms around me and pounds into me so hard and fast I nearly o****m. "Holy f**k." We go at it another hour in different positions before finally falling asleep in each other's arms.
The next morning we wake up and get dressed. Brutus follows me into the living room, and my parents are sipping coffee at the kitchen table. "You two had better have made a baby with all of that ruckus," Mom says. "Mom!"
"Jan," Dad looks us up and down. "Coffee is over there."
Brutus pours a cup, hands it to me, and then makes one for himself. "Sorry it was loud," He sips his coffee black.
"No, you aren't," Dad chuckles. "But seriously, are we going to be grandparents?"
"Dad! Not you too," I mix vanilla creamer and sugar into my coffee and sit at the table.
"What? We have three children who have all found their mates but no grandpups yet," Dad shrugs.
I roll my eyes and look at Brutus. "Sorry about them."
"My parents are the same way," He laughs.
"So, we are going to go see Magnus this morning," Mom interjects. "What are you two lovebirds going to do?"
"We can go see Mag for a few minutes," I reply.
"I'd like to show you my house, Phoebe," He smiles. "It's nice."
I can't help but smile. "Then we can see your house."
"Then I have to get back to work. Dulce will kill me if I don't show up for at least a few hours today," Brutus laughs. "She is a pistol-like you are."
"I'd like to meet her," I smile.
Brutus looks at my parents. "She is just my friend," He tells them.
"We aren't worried." Mom winks at him. "Okay, well, finish your coffee and get dressed."
After our coffee, we get dressed, and then I go with my parents to visit Magnus. I walk hand in hand with Brutus to the hospital.
