The person who had spoken came into view and I was right. It was Beatrice. The wolf she was with was backing me, so I could not tell who it was.
After a while, I came to the conclusion that the person she was talking to was not Alpha Atlas. He finally turned over and I heaved a sigh of relief. It truly was not Alpha Atlas. 1 wondered why I was relieved afterwards. Whether or not it was Alpha Atlas. Why should I care?

I raised an eyebrow. "Do you want us to explain ourselves before everyone at the party tonight? Because, I am ready to do that if you want. Immediately I said those words, her eyes widened in alarm. I could see the fear in her eyes and I decided to feast on it. "I can tell them what I saw too. Imagine the shame that comes with whirling away time with a male that is not your mate, doing things that are immoral in the eyes of wolves and that of the moon goddess."
"I-I don't understand what you are talking about?" Beatrice stuttered.
I raised an eyebrow. "You don't? Do you want me to explain it to you in front of
everyone?
"We just want to know what you were doing in the bush before you came outside," The wolf with Beatrice said for the first time.
"I thought you were someone else," I replied. "You turned out to not be who I thought you were, so I decided to leave and not say a word of what I saw to another person. Your lover, however, decided to make a scene and I have decided to take this to another level. If she wants to make a scene, I am happy to help her make a bigger one.".
"Please calm down," the wolf with Beatrice said. He flashed me a smile. "Please forgive her. Don't let anybody know about this, please."
I turned to Beatrice and glared at her. "You're lucky you decided to screw a sensible wolf and not a wolf with an IQ as low as yours. Next time, we would definitely do a lot of telling our sides of the story. Don't ever tempt me again."
She wanted to say something, but the soft spoken wolf pulled her behind and signaled her to stop talking. She did as he wanted her to and shut her mouth back. She just glared at me and I glared back at her.
Nurned away from them and I immediately bumped into Alpha Atlas. We were so close that our foreheads were almost touching.
Was he watching what was happening the whole time? And, how was he so fast in finding me? Why was he even here?

"Hi, I greeted awkwardly and he said nothing in reply to my greeting.
Were you thinking I was the one with Beatrice? Why were you following her? Are you-
"New appliances, I chipped. I needed to get new appliances."
Alpha Atlas laughed. "Did you hear what you just said? What appliances? What kind of appliances did you need that you had to leave a party to look for one outside.
"It is none of your business," I replied and he frowned.
"Well, it kind of is my business because this is my mansion and you're my guest. It will be wrong for my guest to walk during nightfall in search of a new appliance. What type of appliance do you need? I will get it for you."
I began to walk away from him. He had been ignoring me before, so why was he talking to me now? He walked faster and caught up with me.
I stopped walking and I looked at him. "Why are you following me?" I asked despite the relief I felt when he started talking to me. I had thought that he was going to avoid me throughout my stay here and now that he was talking to me, I was a little glad. But, may the moon goddess forbid that I let him know that I was tired of him avoiding me.
I continued walking without saying anything to him and he continued walking with me. I did not know where I was heading to and why he was still following me.
I stopped walking again. He was beginning to get annoying.
Where are you going?" Alpha Atlas asked and I threw my face away from him.
"Why are you not answering me?" He asked.
I did not know how to answer his question. How was I going to explain to him that the reason I was outside was because I thought he was the wolf with Beatrice? And, that I had come outside to see if he was the one with Beatrice and make sure he does not talk to her much.
"Where do you think I am going?" I asked.
"I'll answer your question when you answer mine." He leaned closer to me. "You thought I was the one with Beatrice, right?
