Chapter 23 

“G–Gamma?” 

John made a funny noise as though he just got punched in the face. 

“How is that possible!” Hellen cried in a high–pitch voice, “You? Aurora? AS GAMMA?!” 

She couldn’t believe it. 

Hellen clearly remembered how weak and pathetic her daughter was. Aurora used to be other kids‘ punchbag and 

she didn’t even dare to fight back. 

Hellen was never fond of Aurora because she was such a loser. 

But this handsome, noble–looking man just called her his “Gamma“! What the hell was going on here? 

Paul also seemed furious. He glared at Lance and snapped: 

“Who the hell are you? We have a Gamma here and his name is Baron! Don’t assume that by driving a Bentley you can give away titles however you want!” 

Lance’s eyebrows flew up high in astonishment. 

Then he suddenly burst into loud laughter. 

“What the hell are you laughing at!” Hellen snapped. 

This 

young man seemed so disrespectful. How rude! 

Rivena was standing by Lance’s side. She raised her chin proudly and said boomingly: 

“Open your damn eyes you blind old crone! This is Alpha Lance from Ever Moon Pack! You can’t afford to mess

All three Ravenwood turned pale in fear, their bodies shivering. 

Ever Moon Pack?! 

Was she talking about THE largest and most powerful pack in the world? 

Hellen’s lips twitched.

Chapter 23 

She was about to cry out “impossible.” 

But when her eyes turned to those troops waiting in line behind Lance’s back, she quickly stifled herself again. 

“Alpha Damien.” 

Lance turned to Damien with a cold and condescending look, “Looks like your citizens didn’t welcome me here. If that is your attitude, maybe I should head back today.” 

Rivena balled her fists and cried out in fume, “And they dare to insult my Alpha and Gamma. Permission to take 

them down, Gamma Auroral” 

All soldiers behind them launched into a prep posture, as though they would jump up and shred the Ravenwood into pieces the next second. 

John screamed and staggered back. He tripped on a branch and fell on his face awkwardly. He seemed even more frightened than his parents and sister. 

“No, no, Please! Please don’t kill us!” John cried on the ground, covering his head with both hands. “Fine you are the Gamma! You are the best! Just cut me a slack!” 

“Brother!” Chloe hissed with a red face. 

She couldn’t believe her brother was such a weak puss! 

Aurora looked down at John icily. 

She wasn’t at all surprised by John’s cowardly behavior. This man had no guts. 

Back in high school, John once slept with a married woman. When that woman’s husband came to John, he was 

so scared that he shoved Aurora out to handle the husband’s wrath and shut the door behind her. 

The husband came with a baseball bat. He hit Aurora on the head for several times before leaving. 

Aurora suffered a weak long of concussion. There was still a scar in her sealp. 

John was the typical weak puss who only dared to raise his fists to women. 

Aurora loathed him from the bottom of her heart. 

“Mr. and Mrs. Ravenwood!” Damien snapped. “Take a hold of your son!” 

He couldn’t stand John’s embarrassing reaction. 

Those soldiers didn’t even move yet! And John was already about to shit his pants!

“Right, right…I’m sorry!” 

Paul quickly came to hug John’s shoulder. Then he casted a resentful look at Aurora and grunted: 

“My son might be overrated. But she ordered a strike first…“.

Aurora let out a sneer, “It is within my rights to order a strike on anyone who offended me. Say another word and try me.” 

Damien took a deep breath and turned to her,” Gamma Aurora, there is no need to start a fight as soon as you arrive. Don’t you agree?” 

Aurora looked back at him deeply. 

She couldn’t remember how many times he had taken the Ravenwood’s side inside of hers. 

Luckily, she didn’t need his support anymore. 

“If you 

wish.” Aurora said with an indifferent voice and raised a hand. 

All soldiers sat down at her command. 

“Well, we must get going now.” Lance yelled, “It is getting late. I just want to settle down and rest.” 

“Certainly,” Damien nodded. “Please head down to the Center Plaza. My Beta Jasper will show you your 

residence.” 

Everyone returned back to their car. Chloe said that she wanted to stay with her parents, so Damien left her 

behind. 

As soon as those troops traveled away, Hellen jerked around and screamed at Chloe: 

“You knew Aurora was alive?! Why didn’t you say anything!” 

Chloe gritted in fume, “I thought I could get rid of her! But she followed me all the way back to Silver Blade Pack! Do you think she will seek revenge at us?” 

Panic flickered across her eyes as she grabbed Hellen’s hands and blurted: 

“Mom! We must work together this time! Together to take Aurora down. And it won’t be as easy as last time!” 

With an awkward smile, John said, “Don’t frighten yourself, Chloe. We expelled Aurora once already. Surely we can do it again. The only resource she has is Alpha Lance. If you ask me, their connection is fairly weak-” 

“IDIOT! You know nothing!” Chloe screamed.

Paul frowned and gave Chloe a disapproving look, “Don’t talk to your brother like that.” 

John was his own child, whereas Chloe was adopted. He would not let Chloe disrespect one of his own like that no matter how much she had helped them in the past. 

“No…No! You don’t understand…” Chloe breathed heavily, trembling. “Alpha Lance says that Aurora is his sister!” 

“WHAT?!” 

The Ravenwoods gasped in unison. 

“That is why everyone in Ever Moon listened to her! Why Lance made her his Gamma!” Chloe cried, “So is it true? That Aurora’s biological parents are somebody else-” 

“Impossible!” 

Hellen gritted. 

“I gave birth to her myself! I brought her back home from the hospital in my own arms! Even though I wished that! 

birth to a tramp like her, she is still my biological daughter!” 

Chloe’s heart was slightly put to ease. 

Good. As long as Aurora was lying about her relationship with Lance, things weren’t too bad. 

She just need to prove that Aurora was Lance’s whore and not his sister. Then, nobody would listen to Aurora’s order anymore and everything would solve themselves. 

“OK…OK then.” 

Chloe took in a deep breathe and said, “Then we need to find evidence of her lies. To prove that she is a 

Damien!” Ravenwood, not a Everhart. I can’t afford her to mess up my relationship with

Chapter 23 

Aurora and everyone from Ever Moon Pack were greeted by Beta Jasper in the Central Plaza. 

All soldiers would stay in the dormitory next to the training field; whereas Alphas and officials like Lance, Aurora 

and Rivena were accommodated at a fancy hotel. 

Aurora found this hotel very familiar. And she soon remembered that this hotel was owed by the Ravenwood 

family. 

A concierge greeted them by the front door and led them to their own rooms. 

Lance, Rivena and a few other generals were all staying at a presidential suite on the top floor. 

But Aurora didn’t get her room key till the very end. 

“Excuse me,” Aurora asked the concierge. “Where is my room?” 

The concierge gave her nasty look and put on a fake smile, “Your room is this way, Miss.” 

He led her down to the ground floor, circled back to the employer’s entrance and walked another two floors down.

The concierge opened the door and tossed her luggage inside, “You have arrived, Miss.” 

Aurora looked inside. 

It was dark and damp and was full of a stinky smell. An iron bed was the only furniture in there.
