Chapter 11

By the next day, everybody had heard what happened by the staircase last night.

By the time Silver Blade Pack’s members rescued Chloe out, her clothes had been ripped apart in the riot, her high heels were nowhere to be found, her hair was messy like a nest.

It was such a huge embarrassment.

Today was the first official day of the annual pack’s meeting.

When Alpha Damien entered the meeting room with his pack members, the room immediately quieted down from low mutterings.

He also received quite a few meaningful glances from other people.

Apparently, people had been talking about the incident last night.

Yet nobody dared make fun of Damien in front of his face.

Silver Blade Pack was the third largest pack in the world, Challenging Alpha Damien in public would be like seeking suicide.

Damien sat down by the table and rubbed his temple.

Chloe made a big fuss when they came back to their room last night.

She first burst into tears and said that Aurora was deliberately trying to hurt her. She begged Damien to hold Aurora accountable for her crime

When Damien pointed out that this was Ever Moon Pack and they couldn’t afford to cross Aurora and Alpha Lance here, Chloe became even more hysterical.

She collapsed on the floor and claimed that she was having another heart attack.

Damien was starting to grow tired of her.

Weirdly, he didn’t used to find Chloe this annoying when Aurora was still around.

Yet ever since Aurora Left Silver Blade Pack, Chloe had become more and more ridiculous.

She often used her disease as an excuse to drag Damien out of his pack business to check on her.

She claimed to be his girlfriend without his permission.

Chloe had crossed so many lines.

Originally, Damien thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea to name Chloe his future Luna.

At least Chloe would make a better Luna than Aurora.

But now.

A cold gleam flickered though Damien’s eyes.

He believed that his plan would have to change.

The meeting room’s door flew open at this moment, interrupting Damien’s line of thinking.

Alpha Lance marched into the meeting room, followed by a group of people.

Damien suddenly widened his eyes.

He saw Aurora traveling right behind Lance!

What was this woman doing her?

This was supposed to be a private meeting held exclusively for Alphas and officials!

Everybody in the room was stunned to see Aurora.

Yet Aurora reacted very calmly.

She followed Lance and sat down right next to him as though she didn’t notice the suspicious look on people’s face.

Damien’s G**a Baron voiced out everyone’s doubts at this moment:

“This is a private meeting! What is this woman doing here?”

He pointed at Aurora and snapped:

“Just because she is Alpha Lance’s bimbo doesn’t give her the right to be here!”

Baron had always been hot-tempered. Only he dared challenge Lance when nobody else could.

Lance was infuriated. Yet Aurora gave him a look gesturing him to calm down.

“What’s your point, Baron?” she asked in a cool voice.

Baron sneered, “You can’t enjoy any privileges just because you are f**g the alpha. We won’t have a woman in this room while we discuss top secrets!”

A few people gasped at his audacity..

Lance’s Beta Eden slammed the desk and glared at Baron furiously.

“How dare you!” Eden hissed, “Disrespecting our Alpha and princess like that-”

Baron snorted, “It’s your Alpha and princess. Not mine.”

“That’s enough,” Damien spoke up coldly.

He turned to Lance and said in a freezing tone, “Please excuse Baron’s attitude. But he has a point. Only officers are allowed in this room. You should ask Aurora to leave.”

“…Officers?”

There was a crocked smile on Lance’s face.

“You probably got something wrong but…” he turned to Aurora smiling.”…Aurora 15 my officer.”

People were astonished.

Eden stood up and placed a hand on the back of Aurora’s chair.

“This is our G**a Aurora from Ever Moon Pack!” he announced loudly.

…G**A?!

Everyone in the room took a collective intake of breath!

A woman as G**a?

And on top of that, a beautiful yet delicate woman?

Was Ever Moon Pack crazy?!

“Are you all out of your mind?!” Baron widened his eyes in disbelief. “This woman is no G**a material. Look at her I can break her neck like a twig! I saw her beaten by her brother many times before! She was so f**g weak!”

There was an outbreak of muttering at this.

“G**a Baron has a point!” said another officer loudly. “We are supposed to discuss how to defeat rogues in this year’s meeting! We need strong and capable warriors! How can a woman like her last a single second on battlefield?”

Many nodded along.

Rogue’s problem was getting more and more serious over the years.

This year, under Ever Moon Pack’s leadership, Alphas had finally gathered to address this issue.

They planned to form an army together to defeat the rogues.

But how could people trust Ever Moon Pack anymore if Lance appointed a pretty girl as G**a?

Crossing arms in front of her chest, Aurora stared at Baron with a calm smile:

“You are questioning my ability?

Baron puffed his chest, “Yes! So what?”

“Fair enough.”

Aurora raised her arm and pointed at the training field outside:

“-Let’s take this outside and I’ll show you what I can do.”
