There was a sudden knock on the door.

Adrien looked alarmed. “Come in.”

As the door opened, it was one of the Mullen family’s maids standing in the doorway. “Mr. Tanner, may I ask if Mrs. Kooper is with you?”

Adrien looked over at Kisa, who asked the maid, “Is there something I can do for you?”

“Miss Mullen would like to see you.”

After the maid left, Adrien smiled at her. “You seem to care about Vivian.”

“I can’t help it. Both of were hurt by our beloved and are suffering miserably. We are in the same boat.” Kisa chuckled. “It would be great if Kelvin could heal her. It would be worth it for the Mullen family to show me their hospitality.”

“By the way, Kisa, may I ask, why are you thinking of staying at the Mullen residence for a while?”

Kisa pursed her lips, thinking, ‘It seems that he has already begun to suspect the purpose of me staying at the Mullen residence.’

She smiled and said, “Gilbert was lying when he said I liked the view in the Mullen residence.”

Adrien looked at her with a frown.

Kisa had just taken a few steps outside when Adrien suddenly called out to her again, “Kisa!”

She was startled and looked back at him.

Kisa pursed her lips and nodded. “I will.”

As Kisa walked to the stairway, she found that the maid was waiting for her there.

“Mrs. Kooper, are you finished? Let me lead you to see Miss Mullen.”
