Chapter 779
Nathalie clenched her fists, her eyes blazing with defiance. "Shut up. You've got no right to talk to me."
Greta, stung like she'd been publicly humiliated, trembled with fury. Her lips quivered, tears threatening to spill as she stared at Nathalie. "I'm your sister; how can you talk to me like this?"
Nathalie shrugged it off like it was nothing. "Did I really insult you? I'm just speaking the truth."
Greta's face was a kaleidoscope of anger, turning every shade between red and pale.
In a whimper, Greta turned to Cameron for backup. "Cameron, look at how she's treating me..."
Before Cameron could even get a word in, Nathalie jumped in with biting sarcasm. "Oh, come on. Have you looked in a mirror lately? Trying to pull off the damsel-in- distress act with that face?"
Greta was left speechless.
Cameron finally tried to step in, siding with Greta. "Nathalie, what do you want from me?"
Nathalie was furious. "Cameron, you left Nina alone in the hospital. Is this your idea of taking care of her?"
Cameron's expression darkened. "You see my state. After the beating you gave me, I'm barely holding myself together, let alone taking care of her properly."
"That's nonsense. You weren't beaten up the day she tried to jump. If you can lounge here with Greta, you can at least hire some nurses for Nina."
Greta mumbled under her breath, "One nurse would suffice. Hiring so many is just a waste of money."
Nathalie slapped Greta across the face, her voice like ice. "What gives you the right to weigh in on Nina's care? Is it because you're the homewrecker who ruined her parents' marriage?"
Greta clutched her cheek, eyes wide with shock. "How dare you? You actually hit me?"
Nathalie, unfazed, replied, "I've hit this jerk before. Why not you?"
Seeing how furious Nathalie was, Greta was genuinely scared now. She clamped her mouth shut, too afraid to say another word.
Satisfied, Nathalie gave her a disdainful look. “Cameron is Nina's dad. It's only right he pays for her care. If you're so worried about his mone and trying to shortchange Nina, think again. Pull that stunt again, Greta, and you'll regret it."
"Cameron..." Greta began to sob.
Cameron was at his wit's end, scolding Nathalie. "Look at yourself, acting like some street thug."
Nathalie rather

Cameron was visibly frustrated, his anger simmering.
"Nathalie, you're getting out of hand. Get out. I don't want to see you."
Nathalie, unfazed, lifted her foot onto the bed, pressing down on him, causing his wounds to reopen. Cameron yelped in pain.
"Cameron, seeing me isn't your choice. When I want to see you, you'll deal with it. If not, you'd better stay out of my way."
"You... ow..."
Panicking, Greta reached for her phone. "Nathalie, you're out of line. I'm calling the cops..."
Nathalie pulled her leg back, eyeing Greta like she was part of a circus act.
Cameron barked at Greta. "Greta, don't call the police."
Greta hesitated. "Why not?"
"Have you forgotten what Lincoln said?"
Fuming, Greta threw her phone aside.
Nathalie picked up Cameron's phone, swiftly arranging for four nurses for Nina, and made Cameron authorize the payment with a
fingerprint. Once the trans ine
was complete, she tossed the phone back to him.
With a confident stride, Nathalie left the room.
What do you think?
