Chapter 32 Save the Workaholic Brother

Chapter 32 Save the Workaholic Brother

In the evenings, she usually went to Hart Lane to help Aaron and Heidi with everything on their to-do

list for the day.

She worked two shifts with the sales people on the team, but they were doing their jobs, and the work

was going well. In a couple of weeks they would have their first product ready.

At weekend, she would come back the the Duncan’s. And she spent the rest of the time with Jason.

Since that day, since Jason showed his mind to her, Angel felt warm in heart.

However, Jason was workaholic like her brother.

He could work twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

Then, to harass Jason became Angel’s routine.

She lived beside her brother for five years, so she knew well about the operation of the company and

she could figure out Jason's free time.

For example, she sent WeChat messages three times in the morning, at noon and at night.

“Jason, what did you have for breakfast?”

“Jason, have you had lunch yet?”

“Jason where do you have your supper?”

To her surprise, Jason answered her questions.

“Sandwiches, coffee.”

“Yes, I have.”

“Jinjiang Restanraunt.”

Even if it was concise, Angel was delighted.

But the work was never done!

She successfully transformed her brother and Alfie, she was sure she could transform Jason!

She intended to kidnap Jason from his busy work!

It was Friday night, lying on sofa, Angel holding her mobile phone.

“Jason, will you be off tomorrow?”

Angel wrote and deleted for many times before she sent the messege.

It was her first date, so she was nervous.

In the meeting room of the Foster Group, Jason listened to the department managers’s views on a new

project with a cold face.

The silent phone's screen lit up.

Jason took a look at.

“Angel: Jason, will you be off tomorrow?”

Jason quietly picked up the phone and began to reply her.

“I have a meeting in the morning, but I have no plans for the afternoon. How about you?” Jason's

fingers stopped.

And finally, he deleted “How about you?” and sent it out.

Angel immediately gave an adorable emoji.

Then she said, “Can you come with me to the orphanage?”

Then she added, “Last time I promised the children to send them picture books. I don't have a car. Can

you help me carry them?”

Jason looked at the screen on a pitiful emoji and replied, “Ok!”

Angel immediately sent a happy emoji.

Kyle smiled, looking at the emoji

There was an instant hush in the meeting room.

The vision of all people gathered on the face of Jason.

Everyone's thinking now was: Mr. Jason is smiling.

Abnormal quiet made Jason raised his eyes to look at the public.

Everyone avoided his eyes and looked down at the minutes.

Of course, Jason’s smile disappeared.

“Is there a consensus? Continue!” Jason said.

Everything was back as it was.

As if it was just an illusion of a dozen people.

Spring of M City was short.

It was warm for just a few days and the temperature climbed up.

There was a children's bookstore in the old city. Because the street was going to be demolished, the

owner had to sell all the books at a low price.

Angel had negotiated the price online and paid for the book, and was to pick it up during the break.

She asked Jason to work as a porter and driver.

This can kill two birds with one stone, namely she could “harass” Jason, but also could complete a

meaningful work.

Angel was here early in the morning.

The owner set off an area for each customer, and all the books they picked could be put in the

designated area.

Angel was wearing a tracksuit today, black sneakers, black sweatpants, a yellow hoodie, a black cap,

and white rubber gloves.

This outfit made her look like a bee.

Jason parked the car and found this bee.

He strolled over with his hand in the pocket of his trousers.

The little bee was so busy that she ran into him with a pile of books in her arms.

Jason stretched out his hand against her shoulder and grabbed the book in her arms, “Be careful!”

Jason's voice was low. Angel rairsed her head in surprise, “Jason? You are here.”

Jason nodded. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

His eyes fell in the book in her hand, and Angel handed the books to him.

She lowered her voice and said joyfully, “I found hundreds of picture books in the warehouse. The

owner agreed to sell them to me at a discount. Help me move them to your car quickly. I am afraid he

will regret.”

She pointed to the books in her section of the floor and ran off to the warehouse herself.

Looking at her back, Jason was speechless.

It was as if there were two people living inside her.

Angel commanded Jason to move books, completely regardless of his suit and his elite appearance.

Two people worked together to move the books to the car.

Angel took off her gloves and leaned on the car door, panting “Oh, I'm so tired, so hot, so thirsty. If I

had known this, I would have brought Aaron and Heidi here”

Jason looked around and moved to a small shop.

On his return, Angel was presented with a cup of iced lemon tea.

“Thank you, Jason!” Angel took it, took a deep gulp of the cool drink, and she refreshed.

Jason looked at her smiling face, he did not say anything but pulled open the door for her.

Angel sat in impolitely. “It's so hot, Jason, I want cold air!”

Jason turned on the air conditioning.

It was a few moments before Angel felt her soul finally return to her body.

She collapsed in the passenger seat and would have slipped under the seat if it hadn't been for the

seatbelt.

Jason took a look at her, “Did you come here early?”

Angel nodded. “Well, I bought many books and I feared it will run out of time, but this collection of

picture books has been a surprise. The teacher will have something new to read to the children.”

She glanced at the books in the back seat.

She leaned back in the chair and sighed as she played against the sun with her fingers. “Oh, I have

spent out a month's salary.”

Jason, “Salary?”

Angel nodded. “Well, I just got paid last week, it is not much. Hugo said I will get more when I have my

own class schedule next semester.”

Jason took a look at the books from the rear view mirror, “Did you buy them with your all salary?”

Angel did not pay attention to the tone of Jason, but proudly said, “Yes? How's that? Not bad, huh? In

the past, I --, Belle bought things to orphanage with money earning from her part-time job, but it was

always not enough!”

Angel could not help sighing.

Jason frowned, “Belle had a part-time job?”

Angel nodded, “Yes, my pocket money and her pocket money added up to be limited. Belle did not use

my pocket money, she might be afraid that people thought she was in trapping the mentally retarded

child, so, she did some part-time jobs.”

Angel tried to keep it light.

At that time, Angel had no idea about money. Knowing that Belle needed money, she gave Belle the

cards and cash her brother had given her.

Belle knew that because Kyle could not take care of his sister, so Kyle could only give her money. But

she could not use Angel's money, unless there was Kyle's agreement.

However, she did not have the chance to meet Kyle.

Jason asked, “What did Belle do?”

She was a student, and the daughter of a wealthy family, so she had to take into account the image of

the Duncan family? Tutoring was definitely not for her.

“Paiting.” Angel said lightly.

“Her sister Anna asked her to design some clothes as required, and then helped her sell the

manuscript and pay by the piece. Belle felt grateful to her sister.”

Jason was in amazement. An uncertain thought lingered in his mind.

But before he could ask, Angel changed the subject and said with a smile, “Jason, I'm going to have a

part-time job like Belle. I'm going to deliver food!”

Her voice suddenly lightened.

“Deliver food?” He repeated her words.

Angel nodded. “Yes, I have spent out my salary. I still have twenty days to go before my next paycheck

and I don't have enough money for food!”

Angel straightened herself up. “Work at school is a bit heavy and I don't have much time. I'll just serve

you alone. I will send you takeout every day, and you pay me! I cook very well!”

Angel looked at Jason's side face, waiting for an answer eagerly.

Jason’s breath was cold, Angel knew he was shocked by that Belle painted for Anna.

However, she would not tell him those manuscripts were now taken out by Yydream Work Studio!

That was between her and Anna!

Jason said, “I don't need you to send me food.”

Angel was offended at once, “Are you afraid I don’t cook well? You have to try it, don't you? If you don't

it, you can return it!”

“The point is, if you don't buy it, how am I going to make the money? What should I do without money?”

That tone made Jason can not help but smile. The girl was looking at him.

She was Angel!

Kyle's sister!

And she said she had no money?

Angel, beseeching, reached out and tugged at his sleeve. “Jason? Give me face, save me from

hunger.”

Jason had no choice but to take out his wallet and throw it to Angel, “You can take the card. The

password is Belle's birthday.”

Angel picked up the wallet with a pause in her hand.
