Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 293

Meanwhile, a man stood in the airport lobby, staring up at the screen before him. He watched as Naomi's flight status changed to 'departed', then took out his phone and dialed a number. "Hello?" A cold voice rang out from the other end of the line.

The man answered, "Ms. Goodwin has just left Herland. Her flight to San Angelino took off at 1:20 a.m. sharp."

Meanwhile, Jonas sat up from his bed in the VIP suite of Sicily Pub. The covers slid off his naked body, exposing his bare, toned torso. There was a woman sleeping naked next to him. She opened her eyes when she felt him stir. Then, she sat up and leaned against him, wrapping her arms around his waist. The next moment, her lips were all over him.

Jonas, however, did not move an inch. His voice was cold as he asked, "How about Charles?"

"Charles Ward got on the flight before hers. His flight left Herland at 12:15 a.m. He's also headed to San Angelino."This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

Jonas paused for a moment, then muttered, "They're not on the same flight?"

"No."

Jonas was silent, but the look in his eyes was changing with every passing second. Finally, he said, "Find out what happened to the Queens that would require him to go back to San Angelino. Keep your eyes on Naomi and see what she's up to."

"Yes, sir."

"Also, I want all eyes on Olivia Carver. Call me immediately if anything has changed."

"Understood, sir."

Jonas hung up, then turned to gaze out the window. The city lights were still bright and twinkling at this hour.

The woman noticed that Jonas had ended his call and inched closer to him to try to kiss him.

However, before she could even touch him, Jonas' cold voice rang out, "Get out."

She was momentarily stunned and stared at him in disbelief, but she was not willing to give up without a fight. She leaned against him and began to grind herself against his body. "Mr. Jensen, I—oomph!" Before she could even finish, Jonas turned around and grabbed her by her throat. She could not even breathe, much less get another word out.

She suddenly felt a sense of

impending doom. The color drained

from her face, and a fearful look crossed her eyes. She stared at the cold, unmoving man before her. He was not a particularly scary person, but at this moment, she was terrified of him. Jonas' chiseled face was cold and expressionless, as though he would kill her at any minute and feel no remorse.

The woman began to struggle for air. She shook her head and tried to grab hold of Jonas' hand. "Mr... Mr. Jensen... I... I'm sorry..."

Jonas just stared at her. Her eyes

were at that moment laced with fear and alarm. It was not an expression he had ever seen on her before, as though she was a flower in full bloom that had revealed its ugly nature.

Jonas was disgusted by this. He let her go and snarled, "Get out of here."

The woman was shoved away with such force that she fell onto the ground. She immediately got up, gathered her clothes, and flew out of the room as fast as her legs could take her.

Thud!

The door slammed shut behind her.

Jonas suddenly felt disgusted as though even the air inside the room had turned sticky. He picked up his phone and called reception. "Send someone over to clean the room." "Yes, sir."

He put down the phone and went into the bathroom. A few minutes later, the sound of running water echoed through the room.

Meanwhile, Charles' plane touched down at San Angelino International Airport at 1:45 a.m.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have

arrived at San Angelino International Airport. We thank you for joining us

today, and we wish you a pleasant journey. Please do ensure that you have your belongings with you, and you may exit the plane following the cabin crew's instructions

Charles turned on his phone and stepped out of the plane.
