Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1835

Chapter 1835

After realizing that his dream lover was Tina, Desmond had gradually forgotten about this incident which reflected only the once-immature part of his life.

However, Abby did not know it.

Just like what the young lady said, the incident that occurred many years ago was the reason why Desmond and Wilson did not get along with each other well. Abby believed that this was true. She thought that Desmond was so depressed by what happened among Wilson, Abby, and him, that he was still seriously biased against Wilson. The indirect message conveyed by this fact was that Desmond still loved Abby, that he still missed her, that he hated Wilson because of her. This was indeed something rather enjoyable for Abby.

Now that Desmond had said that, Abby felt even more sure that he was simply trying to cover up the fact that he still loved her.

Abby smiled sweetly and gracefully. "Did you come here today because you knew I would be here?"

Desmond was taken aback for a while. Then, he shook his head. "No, you're mistaken!"

Abby smiled as she thought that Desmond was purposely trying to hide the secret that he still loved her. Just as she was about to speak again, she noticed that Desmond's eyes suddenly lit up. He walked past Abby directly and waved his hand in front of her face.

"Tina..."

A black Rolls- Royce stopped on the roadside. Its rear door was opened, and two young ladies got off the car one after another.

Today, Tina was wearing a coffee-brown westernstyle dress, which belonged to the latest costume series released by Susan's studio. Susan was wearing a suit and trousers of the same costume

series, and this was indeed a masculine dressing style. When Tina and Susan walked together hand in hand, they could attract a lot of attention from others.

Desmond strode forward, and it was obvious that he was heading straight for Tina.

Then, he had been waiting for...

Abby realized that Desmond had been waiting for Tina, and her face suddenly turned pale. She could hardly maintain her demureness on the surface.

When Tina saw Desmond, she was amazed. "Desmond, how are you doing?!!"

Desmond swayed his slightly curly hair happily. "Fine. Thanks."

When Susan saw Abby, who was just two steps away from Desmond, she felt very unhappy. Then, she said, "Tina, I'll go in first and wait for you!"

Tina understood how Susan felt and nodded. "Okay!"

Susan let go of Tina's hand and walked into the hotel first.

After she got off of the car, Tina immediately saw that Desmond and Abby were chatting. Now, thinking of the relationship between Desmond and Abby, Tina looked at Desmond calmly but meaningfully.

Seeing this, Desmond was afraid that Tina might realize that he had been purposely waiting for her, and therefore he tried to hide this secret. He asked casually, "Abby, how's uncle these days?"

Abby was stunned. Then, she replied with a smile, "He is fine..."

Desmond shrugged. "Oh, really? I attended a charity auction this morning. Chairman Amery was the representative of the charitable donation, but he failed to come in the end. I heard that he might

be ill!"

Upon hearing this, Tina also looked at Abby.

"Nothing serious... It's just a small problem of catching a cold. He's much better now!" Abby's expression was somewhat unnatural, while there was an air of panic in her beautiful eyes. However, she was still wearing a decent smile on her face. "My friends are waiting for me. I'll go in first!"

After finishing her words, Abby nodded slightly and left gracefully.

Desmond heaved a long sigh of relief. "She's gone!"

He actually did not enjoy meeting Abby and talking to her face to face. What's worse, Abby mentioned something which was very annoying to him.

Tina blinked her eyes. "Desmond, you don't like her now?"

"I have told you before. I don't like her anymore! I already have someone I like now..." Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.

Tina was surprised. "Who is she?"

Desmond gazed at her, yet he did not say anything.

"My dream girl is far away but in sight..." He thought.

The corners of Desmond's lips twitched. Suddenly, he caught a glimpse of something out of the corners of his eyes. A beam of bright light was reflected in his eyes.

Desmond's eyes were fixed on Tina's ring finger, and he suddenly became very depressed. "Tina, this diamond ring... Was it from Wilson?"

"Yes!" Tina nodded, and her face blushed. She waved her shyly but proudly. "How is it? Is it very beautiful? I loved it so much!"

Tonight, Tina would have to face two rivals in love at the same time, and therefore she was wearing the diamond ring, which was a symbol of the love between Wilson and her!

A diamond ring was not a piece of ordinary jewelry; rather, it signified something more important and meaningful.

Desmond's eyes were so dazzled by the diamond ring that he almost felt he had become blind.

He also felt that his heart had been stabbed by a dagger.

Desmond no longer wanted to look at the blinding diamond ring. He simply grumbled, "It's so cold here. Don't you want to go in?"

Tina was speechless. "Let's go!"

Tina was curious because Desmond just now mentioned that he liked a certain girl. She really wanted to know who this girl was. However, it was very likely that Desmond was only interested in this girl out of a whim, as he acted like a playboy and loved to flirt with a great number of girls.

Tina shook her head and didn't think too much about it.

All the invited guests were present now, and it was very crowded and bustling on the activity site.

Before the opening ceremony was held, there was a reception banquet, and a violoncellist was playing melodious music on the scene. The atmosphere there was cozy and comfortable.

Tina had come here with Susan today. Most of the time, it was Susan who talked to the other guests, and Tina only needed to greet them briefly. In fact, Tina felt at ease on the scene, because

Desmond had accompanied the two of them all the time.

Desmond called out to one of the attendants who was serving beverages to the guests. He took two glasses of champagne and handed them to the two ladies.

Tina and Susan both thanked him with smiles on their faces.

The clear liquid in the champagne glasses and the pink diamond ring on Tina's ring finger were beautiful under the bright lamplight.

Although it was an activity of the fashion design industry tonight, a number of celebrities, such as movie stars, pop stars, as well as gentlemen and ladies from rich and powerful families, were also invited as guests. Although the ladies were all well-dressed, while most of them were wearing jewelry, the huge pink diamond ring of Tina still had attracted a great deal of attention.

Across the crowd, Maya Cherry stared fixedly at Tina's diamond ring.

The diamond was slightly pink, and it shone so beautifully that almost no woman could neglect it in a natural manner.

Jealousy welled up and was billowing in Maya's heart.

It was quite normal for women to admire an almost perfect man like Wilson.

In fact, Maya had made great efforts in order to reach a deal with the Chin's Group and became one of the Group's brand spokespersons. Maya's goal was to acquire a good chance to get close to Wilson. While she was attending a meeting in the conference room of the Chin's Group, Maya did not bother to hide her good impressions on Wilson.

However, at that time, Wilson took the initiative to tell Maya that he already had a girlfriend.

At the beginning, Maya thought that this was but an excuse Wilson used to decline her indirect display of admiration. Later, in the hospital, Wilson introduced Tina to Maya, who later on also saw Wilson open the door of the car for Tina...

Maya was very envious of Tina. She really hoped that she could replace Tina's position and become Wilson's girlfriend.

Abby was standing in a place not far away, and she was looking at Maya and observing the latter's facial expressions. A playful smile appeared on Abby's face, yet her red lips appeared to be tightened.

Abby was also in a bad mood at this moment.

Just now, outside the hotel, Abby really felt embarrassed. She originally thought that Desmond would cherish the past memories of being with her, that he still loved her and missed her, yet it turned out to be that Desmond had already shifted his attention to Tina.

Wilson had fallen in love with Tina, so had Desmond...

Abby had had very high expectations of herself since she became a member of the Amery family. The Amery family also wanted her to become a well- educated young lady, typical of those from rich and powerful families, after she grew up. She had always disdained to associate with people from the entertainment industry, but Maya was an exception.

It was because Maya was also a young lady coming from a rich and powerful family, although she worked in the entertainment industry at the same time.

Abby often attended social gatherings of the socialites. Occasionally, she would hear a lot of gossips, and she thus knew that Maya was affectionate towards Wilson.

Abby picked up the champagne glass and gracefully walked up to Maya.

When Tina saw the two of them getting together, she felt her eyelids twitched slightly. Her intuition told her that the gathering-up of Abby and Maya was definitely not a good thing.
