Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1668

Chapter 1668

It Only Belongs to You

Hearing Terry's words, Wilson remained unmoved.

He said in a deep voice, "I have been preparing for the business cooperation of this group for more than three months. Today is the important day to sign a contract with them, so I can't be late!"

"Yes!" Terry immediately sat up straight.

The car continued to move forward. Terry couldn't help but look back into the mirror. However, he couldn't see that beautiful figure anymore. He wondered curiously, "Today is Saturday. Why would she come out on such a hot day? Is she going to date someone?"

Wilson stopped working.

"Hahaha, nothing serious!" Terry immediately laughed to remedy the situation.

Then, he began to mutter to himself. "But, why would she go to that old street? I've been there. There's nothing there. Other than the residential buildings, there seems to be only a small supermarket and pawnshop..."

Wilson immediately said, "Turn around at the traffic lights ahead!"

Terry: ...

Night fell.

The whole hospital building was lit up, and neon lights gleamed on the streets around it.

After dinner, the parents of the next ward brought a new dancing machine, which attracted many children, including Isla.

Malee was with Tina in Isla s ward.

Malee looked at her happily. "You paid for Islas medical expenses?!"

"Yes! All of the bills!" Tina nodded with a smile and stuffed the envelope back into her hand.

There wasn't much money in the envelope. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

Although it was only 2,000 dollars, Malee took out all the money she had in her bank card.

Tina knew she had done all she could to help her. Malee was living a hard life in the Chiang family, and so was Tina in the Koo family. Thus, they could understand each other's feelings and became good friends who appreciated and sympathized with each other.

Tina said, "I don't need the money for the time being. Take it back first. If I need it, I'll ask you for it!"

In the morning, she sold all the jewelry and left the pawnshop with the money. Right after she arrived at the hospital, she paid the fee.

Unexpectedly, it was because of Wilson that she could get the money.

No matter what, it was a happy thing.

However, there was still a trace of unwillingness in her heart.

Malee let out a long sigh. "God, that's great! Do you know how worried I am? I was worried that you wouldn't be able to raise the medical fees for Isla. I've already thought it through: no matter what, even if I had to sell myself, I would help you get the money!"

Tina looked at the determined look on her face as if she was about to die and was amused. She said, "Really? You acted as if you're going to sacrifice your life and help me get money from the devil!"

Malee murmured, "Devil? Even demons are not as scary as him..."

Tina was curious. "Who?"

Malee shook her head and denied what she had just said, "No, no one. It's just a metaphor!"

Tina had nothing to say on this matter.

The phone on the table suddenly rang.

Tina was stunned when she saw the name on the screen.

She hesitantly picked it up. "Hello?"

"It's me!" Wilson said.

His deep voice passed through the line and went deep into her ears.

Tina was surprised to receive his call, but at the same time, she was at a loss. She quickly said, "Are you looking for Isla? She's playing with her little friends in the next ward. I'll help you..."

Wilson interrupted her. "I am looking for you!"

Tina was stunned once again.

She unconsciously clenched her phone.

"What... what can I do for you?"

Wilson said, "Go downstairs and let's talk about it!"

Then he hung up the phone.

Tina didn't know why. She went to the window and looked down. As expected, she saw a black Rolls-Royce parked downstairs.

She took the elevator downstairs.

Walking out of the hall, Tina slowly moved to the car.

Terry opened the rear door, and Wilson got off the car with two long legs. His tall figure in a black suit stood in front of the car, seemingly to have blended in the darkness.

Seeing her, Terry greeted her. "Miss Hall!"

Tina nodded. "Hi, Terry!"

Terry, sensitive enough, said, "Enjoy your conversation. I'm going to watch a show in the car!"

Wilson threw a glance at him.

Terry, seeing the disdainful look, immediately said, "It's not a love drama. It's a cartoon!"

Then, he quickly escaped into the car.

At night, the hospital was much quieter.

There were only the sounds of night breeze rustling the leaves.

Wilson and Tina stood together, their long shadows on the ground.

Tina asked, "Why did you come to see me tonight?"

Under the dark sky, Wilson's eyes looked deep and serious. "You went to the pawnshop today."

"..." Tina was stunned.

Wilson narrowed his eyes and said, "Did you sell all the things I gave you?!"

Tina was stunned. "How did you know?"

"I happened to go there too!" Wilson lied, remaining absolutely calm. Then he fixed his eyes on her, saying, "Answer me!"

Tina nodded honestly. "Yes..."

Wilson frowned. "Didn't Desmond give you a

check?"

Tina said, "I gave it back to him!"

After all, she sold the gifts he sent to her, which made her feel a little guilty. When he exposed the secret in such a straightforward way, she couldn't help but feel ashamed.

Tina braced herself to meet his gaze and said with an embarrassed smile, "Since you gave them to me, they were mine, and I had the right to deal with the gifts, right?"

She thought that Wilson came to criticize her after knowing this.

Yet, she wasn't confident enough.

To her surprise, he reached out his hand that was in his trouser pocket to her.

A pair of platinum earrings were lying quietly on his palm with clear palm lines.

Two little swallows looked alive under the dim light of the street lamps.

Tina froze.

She looked at him in surprise. She didn't expect that the pair of earrings that had been pawned would actually appear in his palm!

Tina was startled. "How could it be..."

"I bought them back!" Wilson said.

He said it lightly, without mentioning that he actually spent ten times the price and a lot of effort to redeem it.

The pawnshop owner recognized the value of the earrings and immediately took them as his own after buying the pair of earrings. He gave them to his fiancee right away and was reluctant to sell them.

The gaze behind his glasses deepened. "I don't care about other jewelry, but please keep this pair of earrings!"

"..." Tina pursed her lips.

She felt a surge of emotions in her heart.

"This is a meaningful birthday present.

Besides, it is unique in the world and only belongs to you. Didn't you say that you liked it and wanted to wear it every day?" Wilson's voice was low.

He picked up her small hand.

After opening her hand, he placed the pair of earrings on her palm.

Tina held her breath.

Her throat had tightened, and she found it difficult to breathe nor speak.

Seeing this, Wilson looked a little gloomy and said with a cold smile. "If you really don't want it, you can take it to the pawnshop again. Perhaps I'm too sentimental!"

It was actually her wishful thinking...

Somehow, Tina felt like crying.

She regained what she had lost. The platinum earrings in her hand felt so heavy.

Actually, Tina regretted it the moment she stepped out of the pawnshop.

She really didn't want to part with this pair of earrings.
