Chapter 1474
Chapter 1474
After coming out from the Ferris wheel, they tried a lot of other amusement facilities.
Erik used the same trick again and again and they did not line up for long each time, so they had played with almost all the facilities in the yard all day.
Crystal really had a good time.
She was like a wild horse, showing a wide smile all the time. She was so pure, and looked like a happy child.
"Don't run so wildly. You may ruin your goddess image!" Erik joked with her.
"Haha, I do not have to be a lady with you! Besides, I have never wanted to be an elegant lady. Holly is!" Crystal answered back cheerfully.
At the mention of Holly, she looked more pleased.
Holly was her playmate when she was a child. After Leonardo and Mila got married, she changed her daughter's name to Holly.
Although there were only nine months age gap between them, Crystal still regarded Holly as the big sister, because Holly had been very sensible and mature since young. And now, she had already become an elegant and graceful lady.
"Do you remember Holly?" Crystal asked.
A faint smile appeared in Erik's eyes as he nodded. "Yes."
Crystal continued, "She has also gone to medical school, but Uncle Leonardo didn't want her to be too far away from home. When she fulfilled the application, she even cried a bit, but she still stayed
in Ice city to study at college. Because of this, mom often made fun of Uncle Leonardo!"
Erik smiled after hearing these words. These intimate people left deep marks on his childhood. He was looking forward to the day when he could experience the warm and old time again.
The sun in the distant horizon was getting smaller and smaller.
Crystal continued to check the map and muttered about where she had not gone yet.
"There is one more!" Erik found a place.
This place was different from other amusement facilities. There was almost no need to line up here, and they could enter directly by ticket.
It was the haunted house!
Staring at the gloomy castle, the piled-up bones and the ghosts at the door, Crystal swallowed her saliva nervously.
It was too late for her to regret, as Erik already dragged her in.
As soon as she stepped in, she felt a gust of cold wind blowing against her face.
She was breathing heavily.
It was very dark inside and everything was unclear, so she could only fumble forward carefully.
"Fake ones, all of them are fake!"
Crystal muttered in her heart, trying to cheer herself up.
Suddenly, she seemed to stamp on something. She lowered her head and saw a skull.
She gasped and took half a step back. Then she stretched out her hand to support herself on the wall. However, two of her fingers had actually sunk into a hole. She frowned as she looked at it. It was another skull! And her fingers were right into the skull's eye, where there was still blood in it.
Crystal was completely crushed.
She turned back and threw herself into the arms of the person behind her, asking for help in a trembling voice, "Ah! Help! I'm scared!"
Erik seemed to have been waiting there for a long time. He stretched out his arms and caught Crystal steadily.
The minute Crystal’s body touched his, he felt a little hot.
Other than the day when she accidentally fell into his arms on the train, they had never been so ambiguously close to each other. At this time, Crystal’s whole delicate body was in his chest and he could clearly feel every part of her.
Her body was trembling fiercely.
Erik's hold tightened.
"Don't be afraid!" He comforted her.
Crystal was like a little kitten now, holding his waist and seeking shelter from him.
"It's all fake. I'm by your side! You are very safe!"
His tone was full of affection toward her.
"Okay!" Crystal nodded faintly.
She buried her face in Erik’s arms and followed him to move her feet forward. From time to time, she glanced between the gaps and immediately buried her face back when she saw something horrible. Feeling his body temperature, she was less afraid.
The light inside was too dim.
Otherwise, as long as she raised her head a little, she would be able to see the constant smile on Erik's face.
When they reached the end, the light from outside came in.
Crystal breathed a sigh of relief as if she had been reborn.
Thinking of her cowardice in the haunted house, she touched her nose with embarrassment.
It was a little humiliating, but fortunately, Erik would not mock her.
As soon as Crystal left his arms, Erik felt empty. He wanted to pull her back, but he clenched his fists and restrained his pulse.
What a pity.
Erik felt lost. It would be great if he could hold her a little longer.
He quickly hid his emotions, as if nothing had happened. Seeing that Crystal put her hand on her belly, he asked with a smile, "Are you hungry?"
"Yes!" Crystal grinned.
Then they left the amusement park.
Erik didn't go to a restaurant, but brought her back to where he lived.
Crystal was surprised to find that Erik’s department was actually not far from her school.
It was a high-end community and the environment here was very good. There was even a particularly large artificial lake downstairs. The department she lived was on the street next to her school. She and Erik were actually living very close to each other.
It seemed that Erik had just moved in, as all the furniture was new.
"Is this your home?" Crystal asked in surprise.
"Yes." Erik nodded. "The house assigned by the army hasn't been ready yet, so I bought this apartment. I just moved in last week!"
Erik gave her a bottle of juice and told her to wait in the living room.
Crystal obediently sat on the sofa and looked for her favorite program on TV with the remote control.
Just as she was immersed in the TV program, Erik called her to eat.
Crystal stood up immediately. She held her juice and rushed to the restaurant with excitement. She had always been very interested in food.
On the dining table, there were two white porcelain plates, on which there were omelettes, a pancake and some vegetables.
"You made this?" Crystal was amazed.
At this time, Erik was wearing a T-shirt, which perfectly outlined his good shape.
Crystal had thought that he would order takeout, and wondered why she didn't hear the doorbell. She didn't expect that he could cook!
"Yes!" Erik nodded.
Being influenced by Adam since childhood, Erik thought that it was a very common thing to cook for his beloved woman, so he had learned how to cook when he was very young. He was looking forward to one day when he could cook for Crystal.
Now, there was finally a chance.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
