President’s Sweet Wife

Chapter 919 This is not Fair

Chapter 919 This is not Fair

Chandra, “…”

Victoria laughed, “Archie was right. Chandra, I think you should drink more wine tonight. You can talk to

us when you’re married to this little beauty next to you.”

Chandra disapprovingly drank a whole glass of red wine.

Then he turned to Felix and complained, “Felix, you need to hurry. We can’t get married if you don’t.

Look at the way these guys took us down. When you get married, I’ll be right behind you.” Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

Felix looked at him, but did not refuse.

A group of people had a noisy meal. After dinner, Victoria clamored to go out because it was her first

time in this place and she did not know the customs.

But neither Natalia nor Chandra wanted to go outside. She had to be escorted out by Charlie Peck.

After she left, Natalia and Chandra played cards in the living room.

They were playing a local game here. Natalia didn’t know how to play it at first, but after a few hand-to-

hand lessons from Queeny, she got it right away.

Queeny came out with a trunk full of cash, saying, “Let’s not default tonight. Win or lose, we will have to

cash in.”

Chandra looked at her suitcase full of cash and was shocked.

“Oh, my God, Queeny, have you been robbing somewhere? Where did you get all that cash?”

After all, cash was so rare these days that no one kept it around.

Just immediately, they could see there was at least a million in here.

Queeny glanced at him and said, “It’s none of your business. Where’s your money? Take it out.”

Chandra’s face changed.

“I’m here to be a guest, and I have only about $10,000 with me. I don’t have as much as you do.”

As he spoke, he took out his wallet.

Natalia also said, “I don’t have much cash either.”

Queeny saw this and frowned.

Finally, Archie spoke, “You know what? If we lose, we can make the transfer by phones instead of cash

so that we don’t need to count then. It’s a waste of time.”

Seeing this, Queeny thought about it and agreed.

“Alright then.”

Then they began to play cards.

After a few games of poker, Natalia won and lost, but in the end, it was a no-win game.

Queeny, on the other hand, had been winning. Chandra, by contrast, was miserable.

He hardly won all night and was beaten every time by Queeny.

Chandra cried out, “Queeny, did you cheat on me? You must have cheated, didn’t you?”

Queeny laughed, pushed his hand away, and said, “Come on! Do I have to cheat with you? I can beat

you blindfolded, okay?”

Chandra shouted, “No! This is not fair.”

“Come on, transfer the money!”

They laughed and filled the room with their laughter.

Not far away, Felix watched the scene and smield slightly.

He did not disturb them, but quietly walked out.

Natalia noticed him. She gave a slight sigh when she saw him go out. For some reason, Felix seemed

strange to her tonight.

But she was playing cards, and was in too good a mood to think much of it, let alone ask questions.

They played cards for hours, beginning at eight o’clock and ending at midnight.

In the end, Queeny won the most. Natalia won by a small margin. She couldn’t have won by herself,

but Archie was there to help her.

However, he had good habits. He never told Natalia what to do when she was playing.

He only gave her a little nudge when she couldn’t make up her mind which card to play.

It was just one shot, but every one of them turned her from a loser to a winner.

After a few rounds, Queeny and Chandra were unpleased. They have asked them to screen family

members, do not allow family members to watch next to. They demanded that no family members be

allowed to watch.

Natalia laughed and finally sent Archie off to play chess with Charlie Peck.

Charlie Peck had never liked to play with such things. Chess was more to his liking. So, they went to

the chess room and never came back.

After the game, Natalia, feeling a little hungry, so she asked Queeny, “Are you hungry?”

Queeny said, “Now that you mention it, I feel a little hungry, too.”

Natalia said with a smile, “It would be nice to have something to eat at this time.”

Chandra said, “Me too. Me too.”

Queeny glares at him, “It’s so late. Aren’t you going home?”

Chandra tickled his teeth and shook his fist at her, “You won me so much money tonight, so it’s not a

big deal if I have your midnight snack! I don’t care. I want it!”

Queeny, of course, was just teasing him, so she couldn’t help laughing.

“Tut, just eat it. What’s the point of being so self-righteous?”

With that, she went into the kitchen and asked the cook to make them something to eat.

As soon as she went in, she realized Archie and the others weren’t there, so she came out and asked

Natalia, “Is Archie and others eating, too?”

Natalia paused and thought about it, “I don’t know. Wait a minute. I’ll ask her.”

Queeny nodded.

Natalia headed to the chess room next door.

But before she could get into the chess room, she saw Archie and Charlie Peck standing down the hall.

She paused slightly, puzzled, and was about to ask them, but Archie had already seen her.

He put a finger to his lips, shivered, and beckoned her toward him.

Natalia was surprised and didn’t know what he meant.

But she went obediently, and when she went to look, she saw that they were looking at a vacant lot in

front of them.

Felix squatted in the clearing, concentrating on something.

Natalia asked curiously, “What is he doing?”

Archie said with a smile, “You’ll see.”

Natalia winced at his mystique.

Felix, who seemed to have settled the contents of the floor, turned, and said, “How’s that? Is the

position accurate?”

Archie picked up the IPAD, looked at it, and gave him the OK gesture.

Felix then turned and walked this way.

When he reached the cloister, he found Natalia there too.

Natalia asked curiously, “What were you doing out there?”

Felix smiled, “Nothing. Just a bunch of useless gadgets, you know.”

Natalia frowned.

Her instinct told her that Felix was lying.

But since he would not tell, she could not keep asking.
