PREGNANT FOR THE BILLIONAIRE

Edde walked out of the bathroom after shaving and showering, it has been two weeks and he felt like he wasn’t taking care of himself enough.

He entered the room smelling and feeling fresh just to see Elizabeth fast asleep and snoring loudly which was the latest development ever since the 5th month of her pregnancy.

He sighed as he walked over to the bed and sat next to her, he gently tucked the strands of hair which was covering her face behind her ears as he stared at her peaceful sleeping face, she had dried tears lines on her face which tells that she cried herself to sleep.

Edde took a deep breath as he gently massaged her arms subconsciously and thinking of his recent life with Elizabeth, he knew for sure that he had fallen deeply in love with her but he didn’t want to show it.

His plans all through his First encounter with Elizabeth and his father getting involved was to have Elizabeth birth his child and leave his life for good, he wasn’t ready to commit to marriage. He had lots of things to do with his life and getting married will only restrict him.

He decided not to show much love to Elizabeth so that his mind will be strong enough to leave her alone once the baby clocks one year, he was scared of getting on his feelings and proposing to Elizabeth at once.

All his plans were already falling apart as he was already head over heels for Elizabeth, he loved everything about her. He liked her reaction when she’s angry and also when she’s happy, he loves when she fights Sadie for him, he loves the person she made him become this few months. He loves her Body.

He loves when she’s clingy and tries to get his attention.

She was definitely his perfect Match from heaven and he could bet that with his life, time was running fast and he feared that soon she would be leaving him. He thought of how adorable it’d be for both of them to train their son together, but unfortunately he wasn’t falling for his feelings, he wasn’t ready to get married… The deal remains the deal.

He pecked her forehead softly as she Squealed in her sleep turning to the other side of the bed, Edde took a deep breath as he left the room to the sitting room where everyone else was.

“Hey Edde! We have been waiting for you. Elizabeth said she was tired and needed rest, is she sleeping now?” Mrs Courtney said as Edde simply nodded and took a seat next to his father.

“We wanted you to binge watch a Netflix special series with us, are you ready?” Melanie asked with a wide smile on her face.

“Only if it isn’t Romance” Edde replied boredly.

“Nope, it’s Fantasy… But with a few romance scenes, The originals “. Melanie said as Edde shrugged indifferently.

“Why haven’t I thought of this all these while!? I mean this is Edde Loxley he can’t possibly want to settle down overnight right?… Something must have gone wrong!” Sadie muttered going back and forth in her room.

It’s been a week since her return from jail through the help of the C. E. O of B&W although not without paying him back in a freaky way.

All Sadie had in mind was revenge and revenge, revenge on Elizabeth at least. She didn’t have Edde in mind because she knew that he already lost interest in her but still she couldn’t sit and watch Elizabeth take Edde when she no longer had him.

That is Elizabeth defeating her and she can’t stand defeat.

She knew that she was badly painted black on the internet and to her it was all thanks to Elizabeth.

“Something isn’t right about their marriage, They even had a hidden Court engagement which only few people attended. No way I’m slipping on this, I have to see Edde’s lawyer, he should have a lot to say” Sadie said thoughtfully as she sipped her wine.

Sadie parked her car as she walked into the grey painted house, she had already informed the lawyer about her visit so she was awaited.

“Hi Sadie, it’s been like forever we met, how are you doing?” Luke asked as he exchanged hugs with Sadie.

“I am doing great and you?” She replied, faking a smile as they sat on opposite couches.

“All Good, it’s a surprise that you called me anyways, you have never called me so I’m guessing you have a problem?” He Scowled as Sadie took a deep breath and leaned forward.

“I’m here for business as it’d be better described” She uttered as The lawyer confusedly raised his brows and scoffed uneasily.

“I don’t understand you Miss, explain fur…”

“Edde’s marriage with the commoner is fake right? Don’t lie to me please”Sadie asked, cutting him short sharply as Luke Scoffed uneasily.

“N…no… No it’s real, they wedded in my court”.

“I can tell that you’re lying Mr Luke, I know Edde probably more than anyone and I know what he can do, Edde probably married her because she was pregnant and he didn’t want a bad name… Isn’t it?” Sadie asked in a curved brow.

“That’s not true, I personally signed the contract between the two couples”.

“Wait, Mr Luke. Did I just hear you say contract?” Sadie asked curiously as she sat up as if the couch hot her bum.

“No I didn’t, I said marriage certificate” Luke said hastily as he gulped the lump in his throat.

“Oh, please I’m not dumb I heard you clearly and even if I didn’t, I have our voices recorded” Sadie said as Luke’s mouth fell open in shock.

“You can’t do that Sadie! That’s a crime! Don’t try to do this please”

“It’s a crime if only I get caught and unfortunately you’ve got no witnesses, so pathetic. And if you try doing anything funny I will tell Edde that his lawyer doesn’t know how to control his speeches and he isn’t safe with Such lawyers!… How about that?” Sadie smirked as Luke hissed in defeat.

“What do you want?”

“The Truth, tell me everything I need to know about their marriage. I promise to pay you double of whatever Edde paid you once I get the information I want” Sadie uttered in a smile as Luke nodded.

“And what if Mr Edde Loxley finds out?”

“oh come on! You can’t be that dumb! Of course you will leave the country at least! I will pay for your flight and accommodation until the issue is resolved” Sadie assured as Luke took a deep breath.

I groaned angrily at the annoyingly loud alarm Edde recently bought as I stood from my bed and slammed the alarm off. Edde bought it specially for me because I was waking up too late and missing my breakfasts.

I yawned and shoved my foot into my Barbie pink fur slipper as I stretched my bones. I hate mornings.

“Good morning love” Edde greeted walking out of the closet with clothes.

“Aren’t you going to work today?” I asked curiously as he faked a frown.

“Just yesterday you were complaining of not getting much attention from me and here you are pretending like you don’t want me to stay” Edde blabbed as I rolled my eyes.

“That doesn’t answer my question though” I said as I dragged my foot to the bathroom.

“I’m following you to your doctor’s appointment” he said in a smile as I Scoffed.

“I do not need you, you will only complicate things for me by complaining of an innocent doctor looking at me. I do not want your drama Baby daddy” I uttered half heartedly hoping he insists on going with me.

“By the way that womanizer of a doctor has been transferred, now you have a female doctor!” Edde said loudly from the bedroom as I was forced to chuckle at his insecurity.

“Why don’t you just admit that you’re insecure and jealous?” I said, peeking my head out from the bathroom.

“This isn’t a case of Insecurity, male doctors are not to be trusted… Trust me”.

“Or your feelings for me?” I teased as his eyes softened, he walked towards me with the lightest almost unnoticeable smile as he pecked my lips.

“I really don’t know how I feel, Elizabeth” he said. “But you’re literally my favorite person on Earth,” he added as I smiled.

“And your Dad?” I chuckled as he nudged me gently.

“My dad has done his part in my life and is now busy with his, I love my father for sure” he said in a smile. “Will you let me bathe with you? To save water?” He shrugged as I laughed out loud at his comment.

He suddenly lightened my whole mood this morning. I was literally mad at him when I woke up but here I am flirting with him and chuckling like buttercup.

“Come on in Baby daddy” I said as I pulled him in. “When last did you touch me sexually?”
