PREGNANT FOR THE BILLIONAIRE

Waking up from a nap, Elizabeth yawned loudly as she swung her leg down the bed tiredly. She had slept out of tiredness from the all Star party that she woke up so late.

Elizabeth grabbed her phone from the table as she checked the time and it was already 12pm she sighed and stood from the bed, she looked around the room but couldn’t find Edde as she groaned loudly walking out of the room.

“Edde!” She called out weakly as she matched down the stairs “Mr Loxley!” She shouted, almost coughing out her lungs as an elderly woman rushed out.

“Good afternoon ma’am” she greeted nervously as Elizabeth stared at her confused on who she was.

“Who are you?… Please?” She asked curiously as the woman smiled lightly.

“I am the head maid and cook of this mansion?” The woman said bowing slightly as Elizabeth raised her brows confused.

“Which means there are more maids and Cooks in this mansion? So where have you all been? Why does the kitchen not have utensils!?” Elizabeth yelled harshly, making the woman lower her gaze.

“Ma’am, Master doesn’t let any of us cook for him, we only clean the mansion, we haven’t been around because he sent us home so the both of you can have a private time together” She explained in a low tone as Elizabeth scoffed.

“Whatever, Go make me tapioca pudding please, I’m surprisingly hungry” Elizabeth said as the woman smiled and left, Elizabeth stood watching her retreating back as he shrugged and hissed.

She glanced around in search of Edde but there was no Trace of him as she hurried back up stairs and fell back on the bed tiredly the thoughts of what happened at the All Star Party flashed back into her memory as she kept groaning and smiling.

Remembering when Sadie took Edde out of the building after he betted 100 thousand dollars on her angered Elizabeth a lot, she felt worthless for letting another woman take her husband out without her saying a word to stop her. She felt like a Coward.

But then she smiled back knowing that Edde was so possessive over her to the extent of throwing such a huge amount of money for her not to dance with Ken, she felt cherished as all the women looked at her in admiration although apart from Sadie who seemed like she was gonna tear her into thousand pieces.

Soon Elizabeth slept off after numerous memories, not until the mouth watering smell of the tapioca pudding hit her back to her fit, she woke up to find a young beautiful brown girl with pixie cut hair standing by the door and watching her. Noticing that Elizabeth was awake she bowed immediately, lowering her gaze nervously.

“Hello ma’am, nice meeting you” the girl said politely as Elizabeth nodded slightly.

“Who are you?” Elizabeth asked curiously.

“I am Kay the cook and I was assigned by Master to take care of whatever you need around” she said bowing slightly as Elizabeth nodded thoughtfully.

“Your master is back right?” Elizabeth asked staring at his wallet as the cook nodded “tell him to come immediately please”

After waiting for what seemed like forever to her as she ate the pudding Edde finally came looking tired as he fell on the bed.

“Where have you been? Why did you go to work without even dropping a text or something?” Elizabeth asked harshly as Edde turned his head swiftly to her in Surprise “huh!?”

“Elizabeth, can you please let me have a good rest in my house? I mean I had a hectic day and I deserve to rest please” Edde hissed as he shut his eyes.

“That’s not how it’s done Mr, first of all you can’t lay down on the bed looking all sweaty you have to take a shower and!… I didn’t send for you to come here and rest. I need a leg massage” Elizabeth said, placing her leg on the bed as Edde stared at her Amazed by the guts.

“What’s the meaning of this Betta?” Edde asked, raising his dark brows as Elizabeth shrugged.

“You got me pregnant Mr so this is your contribution hence you ain’t going through all I’m going through, my bump is growing weirdly fast and I think it’s because we are having a son, as you can remember the doctor said that male child comes with lots of issues so…” Elizabeth pouted childishly as she pointed at her legs “it aches so bad”.

“Betta this is insane, I can’t do this shit! Just call the maids I’m sure you have seen them” Edde replied turning his face over.

“They ain’t the one who fucked me… Alright then, I will just call Mr Reluc to come do it” Elizebeth said hopefully Edde changes his mind as she stretches towards her phone.

“No… No no need to call my dad, I will do it right away” Edde said jumping down the bed in a hiss as Elizabeth let out a victory smile.

“I will quickly change into a comfy outfit… Please” Edde pleaded as he sluggishly dragged his foot to the closet.

After a long stressful massage Elizabeth pitifully let Edde go rest even if she wasn’t satisfied getting his hand on her legs.

Soon as Elizabeth ate her pudding she heard a loud snore beside her as she turned to see Edde fast asleep, she shakes her head and checked the time and it was already 4pm “He must have had a very hectic day” she sighed as she shifted the plate to a corner and made her way out of the room.

Getting down the stairs Elizabeth sighted two maids cleaning the sitting room as she shakes her head slightly trailing down quietly, noticing her presence the girls lowered their heads and greeted politely.

“You’re doing a great Job here” Elizabeth said as she headed to the kitchen hoping to see nice fruits in the fridge, getting to the kitchen she sighted the head maid and the junior cooks cleaning the kitchen, it was obvious they had finished making meals with the strong aroma that Elizabeth smelt.

“Hello…” Elizabeth said as she pulled the fridge door open.

“Good evening ma’am” They all greeted in unison as Elizabeth nodded and continued scanning through the fridge for a good fruit. Elizabeth turned back to the head cook as a thought hit her brain.

“Uhmm…” She tried saying as luckily the elderly tiny lady turned to her direction with a questioning look.

“Ma’am do you need anything?”.

“Yeah… Uhmm, please can I talk to you for a few minutes?” Elizabeth asked calmly as the woman turned fully to Elizabeth cleaning her wet hand on a towel.

“Yes ma’am why not, please you girls can leave” the woman said as the girls rushed out quickly.

Elizabeth cleared her throat slightly as they both sat on the dining chairs “First of ma, please can I know your name?”

“I am Mrs Felicia but Master and everyone here calls me Grandma Felicia” she replied in a smile as Elizabeth nodded slowly.

“I’m sure you have worked here for quite a long time, so Grandma Felicia can you please tell me all you know about my husband?” Elizabeth asked as Mrs Felicia took a deep breath and rested by the counter.All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“Well, indeed I have worked for the Loxley’s for a very long time even before the birth of Master Edde I was already here although not in this Mansion but the family Mansion which Mr Reluc left because he always had memories of his late wife around” She said as Elizabeth stared at her in awe, she must have stayed up to 30 years or more! And Edde still lets her call him master when she is obviously like his second mom.

“Wait, Grandma, you mean you have stayed here almost all your life? What about your family?” Elizabeth asked curiously as the woman sighed with Aura of pain around her “I’m sorry if I made you remember something bad, skip the question. Why do you still call Edde master when you actually took care of him from diapers?”

“Edde is still my master no matter what, but the truth remains that he is a good man only when he is in a good mood and I don’t think I have ever been a victim of his violence ever”.

The discussion went on and on until Elizabeth was fed up hence she had gotten enough news she needed about Edde, she had noticed that Edde was still into his Ex lover and it hurt her, she was willing to set the thing’s she was doing wrong as a Wife… baby mama rather right. She saw herself in the position of a wife in Edde’s life even though the public sees her as his wife and so does she. She knows how clingy she is towards Edde but that didn’t seem to bother her, she just needed Sadie out of the picture.

Elizabeth left the kitchen after concluding her discussion with Mrs Felicia as she sluggishly dragged her feet upstairs headed to the bedroom.

She tiredly opened the door but couldn’t find Edde in bed.
