Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 471

Nadine had been spending a lot of time watching relationship advice videos. She was particularly fond of the videos that explained relationships in a logical way.

With everything she had gathered, she realized she should just stay away from men in general, especially Brad. Otherwise, she would be miserable. She had lost herself over the past six years because she had been so focused on loving Brad that she had forgotten to love herself.

One couldn't expect to love others if they didn't love themselves first.

Hence, when Brad called her a "heartless player", she wasn't the least bit rattled. In fact, she took it in stride.

So what if she was a heartless player? Heartless players lived life on their own terms, flitting from one man to another without getting attached. It meant they had their heads screwed on right.

Nadine yelled as she ran, venting everything she had bottled up. In doing so, she achieved exactly what she wanted-getting away from Brad.

Brad could only watch as Nadine ran off, her figure disappearing at the end of the corridor. His brows knitted as he thought she was as slippery as an eel. Before he could even ask her anything, she had already bolted, leaving him in the dust.

She ran faster than a rabbit, avoiding him as if he were some kind of deadly plague. It left him feeling deeply unsettled, like a thorn was lodged in his throat- too painful to swallow but impossible to spit out. Yet, Nadine was already long gone, her figure nowhere in sight.

All he could do was let out a weary sigh, his gaze lingering in the direction Nadine had run off in. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it, but just as he took his first drag,

a nurse walked by and snapped at him, "You're in a hospital, sir! Smoking is prohibited!"

Brad hurriedly stubbed out the

cigarette and tossed it into the trash.

His eyes narrowed as Nadine's words kept replaying in his mind. "Dating men brings a year's worth of bad fuck, spending money onthem triples that to three years, while caring about them brings a lifetime supply, and sympathizing with them brings three lifetimes of misfortune!"

What kind of nonsense was that? The world was made up of men and women, and they had to come

together for human civilization on et

ve

statement was designed to tear people apart. It was nothing but a load of bull.

"If women don't date men, who are they supposed to date? Other women?" he mused.noveldrama

He licked his lips and headed in the direction Nadine had run in. He was going to get to the bottom of this. How could dating a man possibly bring bad luck?

When Nadine made it back to her office, it was nearly empty. She had run so fast that her heart was pounding and she was out of breath. She had to lean against her desk for a while until her heart rate returned to normal.

Once she caught her breath, the first thing she did was pull up Sohpie's medical records, poring over them to see if there was a better

solution-something that ne

involve surgery. She was going through the file when Tyler burst into the office.

He had been pinned down at the emergency exit by the Hamiltons' bodyguards. Forget about saving Nadine he couldn't even save himself. All he could do was stay there until the bodyguards left.

After asking the nurses, he found out that Nadine had gone to take blood pressure readings for patients in every bed. Figuring she would be back soon, he left his office and headed to hers.

Sure enough, there she was, and a wave of joy washed over him. "Nad, are you okay? Brad didn't give you a hard time, did he?"
