Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 257

Brad's anger flared uncontrollably when he heard Nadine's voice.

Since Tyler returned, she seemed to have changed entirely, constantly clashing with him. It was as if she couldn't be content unless she was opposing him.

If not for his patience earlier at the hospital, he might have lost his temper and physically confronted her.

But now, Nadine actually had the nerve to call him using Travis' phone.

Hearing the irritation in his voice, Nadine kept her composure. She forced herself to stay calm despite her rising anger. "Brad, I didn't call to argue with you. I'm here to pick up Sean. Please have the maid bring Sean to the front gate of Hamilton Estate."

The elegant gift box from Brad had become a scar in her heart.

Brad's insincere apology demonstrated just how little he valued her.

If she was of no importance to him, then why should they continue their marriage?

Their relationship was already in name only, and if not for Adam's illness, she wouldn't even speak to Brad.

At this moment, all she wanted was to find a place to escape from Brad and the Hamiltons.

After spending time with Adam at the hospital, she planned to take Sean and stay at Avery's place.noveldrama

If Sean felt it would be a disturbance to Avery, she was ready to rent a place near the hospital and move out to avoid bothering her friend.

But regardless of the arrangement, she would be taking Sean with her.

Once Brad married Jean, where would that leave Sean?

Nadine had endured the harshness of a life where her parents had given her no love. She was determined not to let Sean suffer the same fate.

Her tone was icy and tinged with deep disdain, which only fueled Brad's

frustration further. Without giving it another thought, he flatly refused. "Not a chance! If you want to pick up Sean, you'll have to come yourself. No one will be escorting him to the gate."

Without giving Nadine a chance to continue, he hurriedly hung up.

After ending the call, he snorted coldly and went to his contacts to unblock Nadine's number.

Sean was her lifeline. She would surely come begging him for Sean's sake.

What he most wanted to see was Nadine lowering her high and mighty head before him. This time, he was certain that she would be on her knees.

After the call ended, Nadine was seething with anger but felt utterly powerless against Brad.

Even if he stood right before her, she couldn't confront him physically. She was left with no choice but to endure it.

With a heavy sigh, she returned the phone to Travis awkwardly. "Thank you, Mr. Jenkins."

Travis, who had been standing nearby, had clearly overheard her conversation with Brad.

Although Nadine was not usually concerned with her dignity, Brad's blatant disregard for it made her uncomfortable, causing her smile to become stiff.

Seeing her forced smile, Travis took the phone from her and gently comforted, "Don't take it to heart, Mrs. Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton is

always like that. He responds

better

to gentleness than to force. You can't confront him head-on.

"If I may offer a bit of advice, Mr. Hamilton does care about you. If he didn't, the divorce would have been finalized by now. He's just stubborn and doesn't want to admit it.

"Instead of constantly clashing with him, try being a bit more accommodating. He responds well to a gentler approach."

Upon hearing that, Nadine looked at him with self-mockery in her eyes. "Don't worry about it, Mr. Jenkins. I know what to do."

Brad cared about her? No way!

Her love had withered with every disappointment she felt from him. She wasn't made of steel; she couldn't withstand repeated disappointment and abandonment.

Travis seemed ready to say more, but Nadine wasn't in the mood to listen. She gave him a polite wave. "I'll leave now. Please take good of Grandpa. Call me if anything comes up."
