Pampered Wedding Marry Me, Mr. Langford

Chapter 824

Chapter 824

Samuel was walking so fast that Tina had to jog to keep up. She was afraid of being left behind.

Finally, Samuel stopped at the door to Kara's room.

After he carried Kara inside, Tina came up.

The sight of the woman appearing and panting made him frown.

’What happened to you?"

"I," Tina stammered, "you walked too fast. I couldn't keep up."

She didn't know why she was so weak now.

It was not a long way from the courtyard to the room. The trotting had brought profuse sweat to her forehead. Her face was a bit pale, and

she was teetering.

Samuel saw it, tensed up, and grabbed her despite his anger at her.

Like iron, his robust arm wrapped around the waist of the tottering woman. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

His brows locked in a frown, he said coldly, "Did you cast the doctor's caution to the wind? You're aware of your condition and know that you need to recuperate, yet you ran so fast. You'd get yourself killed."

In a deep voice, he reproached Tina for not caring about herself.

To Tina's ears, however, it sounded deliberate.

This man had walked too fast, and she had been afraid that Samuel would shut her outside. That was why she had been so anxious to keep up.

In his arms, she felt through the thin clothes that she was surrounded by the warmth and the pungent scent of tobacco from his body.

Tina's heart was thumping. At that point, she knew that she couldn't argue with him.

She just lowered her head and said, "I know. I'll be more careful."

Samuel was surprised to hearthat.

"Now you're speaking human," he snorted. "You weren't so obedient just now."

Tina was speechless and dismayed.

'What have I done wrong?

'My retort would annoy him, and my obedience is ridiculed. Without a doubt, he is finding fault with me. Am I such an eyesore in his mind?'

Despite her dejection, Tina said, "Kara is going to have a nap, and I'm going to tell her a story."

Samuel raised his eyebrows and reluctantly loosened his grip on her slender waist.

'What's the rush? She is washing up."

Upon hearing that, Tina didn’t dare to move again.

After entering the room, Kara rushed into the bathroom to wash up, so she didn't hear their conversation.

After changing into her pretty princess pajamas, she stormed out.

Then her eyes rounded when she bumped into the scene.

The petite woman was nestling in the arms of the big man. The scene was pleasant to look at. They seemed to be made for each other.

'What's going on?

'Weren't Daddy and Mommy fighting?

’How come they are holding each other?'

Kara immediately covered her face, went back to the bathroom, poked her head out, and grinned.

"Am I interrupting you?"
