Painful seduction

She stormed into the room looking as distressed as ever. The information about her sister being alive gave her much happiness but then Axl was just making life a living hell for her.

She thought as she searched her room for photos which she had kept away from everyone.

It was a picture of she and her twin sister when they were young, the picture has been the only memory her parents left.

She didn’t even have a family photo, looked like what Dementrio said was true.

Someone was behind her parents death and twin sister’s disappearance.

But the only person who knew about her parents and family was Axl’s father, Mr. Anderson.

Mr. Anderson even though he treated her like his own daughter , getting the truth about her family will be more tougher than it sounds.

She already promised Dementrio not to say anything and promised to keep her findings a secret.

One thing surprised her, Dementrio never supported her in anything but why was he helping her out , as far as she could remember it was his father’s last wish for him to take over the wealth of the Chester’s Enterprise.

Everyone was just behaving so strange and leaving her confused.

Truth be told, she wasn’t suppose to trust any of them, not Axl, not Dementrio and not Mr Anderson.

She made for the wardrobe to find something nice and simple, just a plain white blouse and a straight blue skirt should do it, she applied no makeup as she quickly checked her face to ensure it was okay.

It wasn’t how she wanted but it was still okay, she was in no mood for any beautification.

All she wanted to do was get the information of her sister.

Going downstairs she looked around for Axl.

” Where is my husband?” She asked a maid.

” His in the guest room ma’am” she answered as she bowed her head .

She walked up to the room and opened it lightly as she tip toed to where he was sleeping peacefully, his clothes and shoes were still on.

She looked at his innocent face and wished she could touch it just like she always did when they were much younger.

Axl changed alot after they came back from their honeymoon, he started becoming bossy and money addicted.

She was nice hearted but had to change when she discovered Axl wanted her to transfer the wealth to him .

She looked at his cute face as memories of their teenage hood came racing in her mind, she smiled

at every thought she had of being with him.

It’s sad how things and people change, she thought.

Money really changed people.

She wished she could care for him like she had always wanted to but that lovely Cathy he knew had turned to a heartless being.

She walked away at the verge of tears , she couldn’t believe those memories brought tears to her eyes.

A hand held as she made to walk downstairs. She turned to the direction and found the face of Axl.

She was shocked as she looked over him to check if the room was open.

” How did he get here? She thought he was sleeping a while ago .

” Am sorry ” he said as he wiped the tears from her face.

She was so shocked about what happened, that had never happened before.

What’s going on, she thought hard.

He drew her closer as he kissed her forehead while he carefully arranged the hair that had fallen over her face.

She watched him speechless, what was going on? Earlier today he was cold and angry and here he was apologizing for everything.

No, she won’t believe this at all.

She made to leave but Axl held her by her wrist as he gently pulled her closer again by gently guiding her waist.

She looked astonished,

” What ?” He asked her as he kissed each of the back of her palm.

Nothing… She stammered.

” I want to go somewhere ” she said

” Your still angry right? Tell me what you want , I will do anything you tell me”.

“Axl, everything… is just happening so fast , am really shocked , what’s going on? “She looked at him with interrogating eyes.

” Am sorry, I was just drunk in the morning” he said slowly as he whispered into her ears sending chills to her spine.

“Nothing is going on Cathy, your just shocked and I understand” he answered as he lifted her chin making their lips meet, but She quickly removed it.

” Baby, your still angry?” he asked

” What did you just call me? she asked shocked not willing to believe what she just heard .

” I called you baby, don’t you like it?”

” No” she said with smiles as she hugged him.

He hugged her and patted her back softly

“Sorry for being such a big head “.

“There is always a way to make it up to me” she said with a naughty smile.

“Tell me and I will do it”.

She pointed to their room and he got the message, immediately he lifted her up and kissed her before walking to their room .
