Chapter87 There must be a Misunderstanding

They were only one road away from each other, but Richard sat in his car, quietly looking at Pearl in

hers. He wanted to ask her about what had happened, but didn't at the end.

Pearl was a woman who was strong and analytical. She would always be calm upon facing trouble and

rarely lost her temper. Her splashing Adriana with water today was already an unbelievable thing to

him. There should be something that he hadn't known.

"Mr. Zellweger, Dr. Yonng has started her car. Should we still follow her?" Richard's assistant said. After

The car followed Pearl all the way to the entrance of her apartment building. After watching her car

"Dr. Yonng looks like a person who is easy to get along with. She wouldn't do that thing for no reason,

especially in public. So I think Miss Wood must have said some things that had angered her."

"What could it be?"

"I'm not sure about this." Ted looked at Richard hesitantly.

Although Ted didn't have much contact with Pearl, it was not difficult for him to get to know her

personality. She must haven't splashed water on Adriana for no reason.

After a long while, Richard had Ted start the car.

The black car then rejoined the traffic on the street.

Richard said, "Go and investigate the matters of her children's school application. And help them get

into the school."

Late night, in the living room, the wine bottles were piled up on the table.

Pearl hugged a pillow and laid on the sofa. She was feeling a headache. Usually, when her kids were

Pearl was stunned once again. She then looked up at Richard.

He was in his early twenties, dressed in a casual suit. His brows were deeper than those of his age, but

not as cold. Rather, he seemed to be more easygoing and carefree.

"Richard," Pearl said in a daze. She wanted to touch him, but she found that she just couldn't raise her

hands.

The next second, she found herself said, "Richard, Adriana has drunk too much. Please send her

her body.

"What about you?" Richard asked.

"I will go to the lab later, and then to the dorm."

"I'll send you back to the dorm first." Richard said.

After leaving the banquet hall, Pearl escorted the two of them to the door. Richard looked very worried.

"Call me when you reach the dorm."

"Sure. See ya."

The taxi gradually drove away. In the dark night, Pearl walked alone. She began to feel groggy on the

way to campus.
