Chapter114 Family Doctor

"You don't earn much as a doctor, do you?" Elaine looked at her seriously.

Pearl was confused by her words.

"What's your salary?"

"Why do you ask?" Pearl frowned and said.

"My brother is in poor health. Our family wants to find a family doctor for him. If you are willing, I can

give you ten times what you're earning. What do you think of it?"

This teenager was negotiating with her just as an adult.

It went without saying that Elaine's parents had cultivated her to learn business negotiations.

Although Pearl was a doctor, she'd been hearing about such things from her father since childhood.

She was already too busy with the hospital, and she'd have to go to teach in the university every week.

"Here we are." Pearl pulled over. "You live here, don't you?"

"Yeah," Elaine also looked out of the window as her face was filled with regret. She then took out a

worried."

Through the windshield, Pearl saw the door opened, and a woman came out of the house.

Looking from a distance, the woman in a Burberry plaid shawl took the schoolbag from Elaine. She

lowered her head and was saying something. She was obviously smiling but there was a kind of cold

beauty, which looked very elegant.

Thanks to Ethan, Pearl was fortunate enough to see all kinds of beauties. But no one was as beautiful

as this woman.

Pearl even forgot to drive away.

The woman suddenly raised her head and looked at Pearl. She walked over and knocked on the car

window with a smile.

Pearl was lost in her daze. After coming back to her senses, she rolled down the window immediately.

"Hello." The woman bent down and gave her a gentle smile. "I just heard from Elaine that you drove

her back. Dr. Yonng, right? My name is Jasmine Brown, Elaine's mom."

"No worries. It was on the way."

"How could it be on the way? Yoreast Hills is so far from the city. If you don't mind, please come in and

have a cup of tea." Jasmine smiled slightly and said.

"No, it's okay. I need to go home now so I won't disturb you."

It was almost 12 am and no one would visit somebody's house for tea.

Jasmine nodded. "Then I'll visit you someday to thank you."

"It's really unnecessary, Ms."

Then Pearl reminded her about Elaine's bandaging care for the wound on her neck, and drove out of

the place.

She drove far away but she could still see Elaine and Jasmine standing at the gate of the villa, sending

her off.

Only people of renowned status in Kityall City could stay in Yoreast Hills Garden. However, what

piqued Pearl's interest was how different Elaine and her mother were.

One was a beautiful woman who looked like she was straight out of a painting and the other was like a

young girl with braids who was dancing in a music class.

It was now already midnight.

And the street lights were very dim.

Kityall City's hospital was on the news the next morning.

In Zellweger Group, Ted followed Richard to his office after their morning meeting. On their way back,

they saw two female secretaries at the administrative discussing something excitedly.

"Ahem—" Ted coughed, but bthe secretaries didn't hear him.

D*mn!

As expected, Richard stopped and coldly asked them, "What are you two looking at?"

"Bang", the phone fell from the secretary's hand and hit Richard's foot. The news was playing.

"Mr.... Mr. Zellweger..."

While Richard was still silent, Ted made the first move. He shouted at the secretaries, "What are you

doing at work? Messing around with your phone? You don't want this job anymore, do you? You won't

be getting your bonus this month."

Ted didn't want to be strict. But if Richard was the one to speak, they may end up being fired.

It would be better if he made the first move to tell them off.

As expected, Richard only frowned sightly. Then he walked towards the office without a word.

Ted glared at the secretaries behind him, then he immediately caught up with Richard and said, "We

need to reiterate the company rules to the whole secretary department. I'll hold a meeting later..."

Before Ted could finish, Richard suddenly turned his body sideways, which made Ted startled. After he

came back to his senses, he saw Richard staring at that phone on the ground.

"Last night 8:15 p.m., a drunk man in Kityall City Hospital stabbed someone in the ER. It is said that

there was only a female doctor on duty, Dr. Yonng..."

The news stopped abruptly at the critical moment as the secretary picked up the phone and turned the

screen off.

"Give me your phone." Richard suddenly said with a cold voice.
