At night, only the Emergency Department in the hospital was still taking in patients.

Both Pearl and Ethan were both on duty that night. Pearl could have left earlier, but Dr. Wale wanted

her to have a look of a thesis. So she decided to stay longer in the hospital.

The new semester at the University had already started. Pearl had just got the job and there hadn't

been any students enrolling in her class yet. But the director of the department estimated that she

would be dazzled by the number of students who would select her class next year.

Just then, her phone suddenly rang.

It was from the nurse, Eva. "Hello?" Pearl said.

"Dr. Yonng, are you still here in the hospital?"

"Yeah, what's going on?"

"Great," Eva sighed in relief. "You may have to come to the Emergency Department now. There is a

little girl whose knee is injured. Her bone is dislocated as well."
