That's why I prepared these," Maximillian said, quite pleased with himself. His gifts were no worse than

Benjamin's.

Nicole raised an eyebrow at Jared, as if asking, "Has grandpa always been this competitive?"

"Probably because he's gotten older," Jared whispered.

Years ago, Maximillian was not like this. These days, since he stopped managing the Johnston family

affairs and the company, he showed a lighter side of his personality.
