Chapter 2312
Mallory shook his head. "What? Justice Guild?"
Avery, looking drained, chimed in, "Those in tight suits, looking like wannabe heroes."
"Oh, those guys. I thought I was dreaming or something..." Mallory said awkwardly.
"So, what do you all think?" Sterling asked again, and Avery immediately answered, "I'm fine with whatever. You guys decide."
Dahlia quickly followed suit, "Me too."
Sterling looked at the rest.
"Shouldn't we discuss this with Mr. Hughes first?" Avery asked suddenly.
Sterling shook his head.
Lillia spoke up at that moment and asked, "I can't trust those guys. Let's be real- they're still citizens of this nation. Why would they genuinely help us?"
Puelo nodded in agreement. "Regardless, we can't just sit back and do nothing."
Mallory voiced her uncertainty, "I don't really know what to do, but from what I can see, they don't have any reason to lie to us. Besides, we have no clear plan for this mission, so why not let them handle it?"
Avery nodded, agreeing with Mallory's point of view.
"Regardless, let's not interfere with whatever they're doing for now. Let's observe the situation and see how it develops, shall we?"
With two votes in favor and two votes against, the deciding vote came down to Sterling.
Sterling stood up.
"Everyone, my view is..."
...
On the second day after the rules were announced in Laikaa, Drakonia, fighting continued in the outskirts.
Continuing his winning streak, Vizimir was taking out participants with bracelets one after another when he suddenly bumped into Francel.
Francel turned around in confusion. "What's going on?"
Vizimir immediately threw a punch, which Francel dodged nimbly.
"That was close."
"You stick with a staff! Take another punch! Breaking Air Fist!" Vizimir roared and then threw a powerful punch into the air.
Francel retreated multiple steps back and looked at his somewhat damaged staff with surprise.
Vizimir had evidently mastered a new technique during this short period of time. Judging by the previous encounters, he had become significantly stronger.
Francel knew it was time to take the fight seriously.
As they prepared to battle again, Dusky's voice once again echoed in all the participants' ears.
"Attention everyone, new rules have been added. If you do not engage with another participant within a day, you'll be automatically transported to the battlefield. Additionally, a new random participant will be added each day, and new rules will be introduced daily.
"These rules will be different from before and are mandatory. The longer you delay, the more disadvantageous it'll be for you. So, make sure to act quickly."
From where he was above, Dusky yawned. In just a day, half of the participants had been eliminated. The pressure from the upper levels and the chaos at the lower levels had been eye-opening for Dusky.
The participants' desire for this elusive opportunity was quite exaggerated. However, Dusky understood that those who had fought to this point had likely already made up their minds and were willing to do whatever it took. He was looking forward to how the story would unfold.
When Francel heard the new rule, he finally understood why he had been suddenly transported here.
The battle between the two resumed. Both were similar types of fighters and were evenly matched in terms of physical techniques. Vizimir's rapid skill growth was impressive, but Francel's more solid foundation made him well-prepared for Vizimir's sudden attacks.noveldrama
Just as the two were locked in an intense fight, Zoe burst into the scene.
