My Stone-Hearted Billionaire Husband

Chapter 55: Sharing His Room (2)

“Why don’t we?.. Have our first shower TOGETHER?”

“Say what now?”

Kourtney blinked blankly at Sebastian as if she was staring at a ghost!

Her mind was reeling. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

‘Is he seriously suggesting that we take a shower together?’

It was one thing to share a bedroom, but to be so intimate right from the start was a lot to handle.

She already knew Sebastian was a shameless man, but she never really thought he’d be this shameless!

She had thought the man would be reasonable enough to at least, let her stay in her own room and get used to him. Turns out she overestimated his rationality as now he was even bold enough to ask such.

“You heard me, Wife? Isn’t it normal for couples to bathe together?” Sebastian seemed so unbothered by the look Kourtney was giving him, his mischievous smile growing wider.

Kourtney, “……”

Her jaw dropped, her mind racing to comprehend the audacity of his proposal. This was a whole new level of absurdity, and she wasn’t ready for it.

Seeing her red and flustered expression, Sebastian couldn’t help but teasingly pinch her cute cheeks. “Relax! I’m just pulling your leg.”

Her cheeks flushed even redder at his touch, and he was clearly enjoying the effect of his teasing.

Meanwhile, Kourtney’s heart pounded in her chest as she desperately tried to regain her composure. She knew he certainly wasn’t joking!

They stood there in silence for a moment, the tension still in the air.

Sebastian’s eyes started to wander around the room, taking in the familiar surroundings while his Adam’s apple rolled up and down. Perhaps not looking at her pretty face and attractive body would help him prevent the temptation of just tossing her into the bathroom.Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Well,” he said, breaking the silence. “I think I’ll go shower in one of the guest bedrooms. Give you some space to settle in.”

Kourtney nodded, grateful for the temporary reprieve. “I appreciate that.”

As he walked past her, she could still feel the heat from their earlier exchange.

She watched as Sebastian walked out of the room, his broad shoulders disappearing through the doorway. As soon as he closed the door behind him, Kourtney let out a sigh of relief.

“Thank God!”

She was grateful he was still reasonable enough to give her some privacy first.

As she unpacked her belongings, thoughts of Sebastian continued to intrude on her mind. She suddenly wondered what it would be like to be in the shower with him, with their bodies pressed close, the steam swirling around them.

She slapped herself mildly as if trying to wake up from her dirty thoughts. “What are you doing, Kourt? Focus!”

What was she even doing here, in Sebastian’s room, in Sebastian’s house, as his wife? And they were also going to share his bed? It was all too overwhelming.

Feeling anxious, Kourtney reached for her phone. She needed someone to talk to, someone who could calm her racing thoughts.

“Hey Siri, Call Lilian.”

“Hey, Bestie,” Lilian answered in her usual cheerful way after a few bleeps. “How’s the honeymoon going?”

Kourtney let out a shaky breath. “It’s… It’s not a honeymoon, Okay? I’m just moving into his house!”

Lilian burst into laughter on the other end of the line. “Oh, come on, Kourtney! It’s your honeymoon season, whether you like it or not! By the way, what’s popping?”

“Lils, that man just suggested we bathe together. Can you believe that? He’s literally INSANE!”

“OMG! Are you for real? Lilian screamed into the phone. “Well? Did you agree? Why not bathe with him? You two need to get more comfortable being around each other. He’s your husband. Oh, God, I’m so excited for you. I hope you said yes?”

Kourtney snorted, feeling her cheeks heat up again. “You make it sound so simple, Lil. It’s not like we’re in a normal relationship. It’s a lightning-flash marriage, remember?”

“Girl, can you even listen to yourself? Just because it’s a rash union doesn’t mean it can’t turn into something more. Why don’t you just try to loosen up a bit, and see where things go.”

Kourtney chewed on her bottom lip, contemplating her friend’s words. Lilian had a point. She couldn’t deny that Sebastian had been kind and attentive towards her despite their bizarre situation. Maybe it was time for her to let go of her reservations and embrace the possibility of something real.

With a determined expression, she bade goodbye to Lilian and made her way to the en-suite bathroom. She turned on the faucet and let the water run, adjusting the temperature to her liking. As steam filled the room, she undressed, letting her worries slip away with each piece of clothing.

After a rejuvenating shower, Kourtney stepped out of the bathroom, feeling refreshed and ready to face whatever came her way. Her body was wrapped in a cute and fluffy white towel as she walked towards her suitcase to retrieve her nightwear.

Soon enough, her eyes fell upon the different lacy lingerie that she had brought with her, and a shy blush crept up her cheeks.

It was a set that Lilian had convinced her to buy, telling her that every woman deserved to feel “sexy and desired,” especially on a honeymoon, or a honeymoon season as Lilian liked to call it.

Before today, Kourtney had never imagined herself wearing such daring lingerie, but now, she couldn’t help but feel a tinge of excitement at the thought.

Taking a moment to gather her courage, Kourtney slipped into the delicate lace undergarments, admiring herself in the mirror. The lingerie hugged her curves in all the right places, accentuating her natural beauty.

She felt like a Victoria’s Secret model, exuding sexual appeal and allure.

With a smile on her face, she stepped back into the pitch-black and gray-colored room.

As her eyes scanned the place, Kourtney realized just how dreary and lifeless it looked. It didn’t feel like home, and she knew she needed to inject some feminine and lively touches to make it her own.

Being a professional event planner, she had an eye for home decor and knew exactly what the room needed.

She was already memorizing and making mental notes of what she could do to brighten it up. She thought about adding some colorful throw pillows and a soft area rug to add warmth and texture. She also plans to plant flowers on the empty balcony.

Lost in her thoughts, Kourtney was startled when Sebastian returned to the room, now dressed in a black bathrobe. His damp hair was tousled, and droplets of water clung to his tanned skin.

He looked like a sculpted Greek god, and she tore her eyes away to prevent herself from drooling shamelessly. It seems like the man was doing it on purpose.

Her heart raced as she met his gaze, an almost burning fire in his eyes.

The earlier tension between them returned, stronger than ever. There was an electric chemistry between them, one that Kourtney couldn’t deny. How long could she avoid exploring it?

Sebastian smiled, a devilish gleam in his eyes as he stared at her lingerie-clad figure. He looked at her as if he was feeding his eyes with something so…. appetizing!

“Sorry for the delay,” he said, breaking the silence. “The shower in the guest bedroom was a bit… inadequate for my needs.”

Kourtney’s cheeks flushed at his blatant innuendo, and she busied herself, arranging her skin-care items on the dresser.

Sebastian emerged from behind her, a knowing smirk on his face. “Feeling better, wifey?”

She could feel his hot breath on her neck. “I’m good!”

“You know,” Sebastian continued casually, lounging on the bed and propping himself up with one hand, “I heard that married couples have the best sleep when they cuddle together.”

Kourtney’s heart skipped a beat at his lewd remark.

Was he suggesting what she thought he was suggesting? She couldn’t believe how brazen he was, but at the same time, a thrill coursed through her veins.

She bit her bottom lip, her mind racing with conflicting thoughts. This was uncharted territory for her, but Sebastian’s words made sense. They were legally married, and maybe, just maybe, it was time to embrace the intimacy that came with it.

With a mix of hesitation and intrigue, she approached the bed and settled herself beside him. Sebastian shifted, making room for her, and she felt a jolt of electricity shoot through her body as their skin brushed against each other.

When he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close, she could feel the strength of his embrace, the warmth of his body seeping into her own. It was both comforting and terrifying.

“Hey! But… But what if you snore? Do you snore?” she was nervous and tried to lighten the mood.

Sebastian chuckled, his laughter warm and inviting. “I don’t.”

“Better!”

They lay there in awkward silence for a few moments, the only sound being the gentle rhythm of their breathing.

As she felt his masculine breath envelop her body, Kourtney got all the more nervous that her heart began to pound in her chest. They were so close that she could feel the warmth of his body seeping into her skin. He was breathing on her neck, making her try to move as far away from him as far as possible.

“Stop moving and sleep,” Sebastian rasped in a deep and husky tone. He was also overwhelmed by the tension in the air.

The feel of his wife’s soft body lying beside him heated up his own body more and more as the seconds flew by. It seemed like he had underestimated himself when he suggested they cuddle to sleep.

There was also nothing he could do to stop the tightening in his pants, especially when the woman just wouldn’t stop shifting against him.

“I said stop moving!” He repeated in a low and threatening tone.

His Adam’s apple was bobbing up and down continuously now while his eyes grew dark with lust and desire…..
