Thelma sighed as she rubbed her back before hugging her tightly to himself .

The hug was broken by the steps she had on the stairs.

If she was not mistaken , the feet belong to more than one person .

She stood up immediately but before she could get to the door.

The door opened revealing Derrick and Lucien who walked in.

Lucia folded her fist as she stood up from the bed and got into the bathroom there .

Lucien sighed as he palmed his face .

He had messed up big time .

” I think you need to give her space Lucien . That’s why she left . Seeing you here is going to aggravate the situation ” Thelma said and Lucien sighed .

” Please help me talk to her , if I lose Lucia , I might die ” he said tears threatening to drop out of his eyes.

” Don’t worry she won’t leave you. She just needs space .” Thelma said and Derick patted his back .

” I love you Lucia. Please forgive me soon ” he yelled before leaving the room..

Lucia sat on the floor as more tears ran down her face .

She couldn’t believe that his presence still breaks her.

She hopes by the time she spends more weeks here , she will have a thick wall to be able to stay strong whenever he comes again .

She heard the door close and she knew he has left .

Lucia gathered herself and got up and washed her face in the wash basin and using the towel there to wipe her face .

She opened the door and looked around the room before coming out fully .

Immediately Thelma opened the door and got in .

She gave her a look from head to toe and sighed before walking to her and pulling her into a hug which Lucia melted into immediately and she didn’t know when she started sobbing again.

“It’s okay Lucia . it’s okay ” she said stroking her hair .

” Stop drinking too much or else you will be undescribable soon . I am not staying with you all night dude ” Derrick said but Lucien was not having any of it as he gulped more of the wine .

” Dude ” Derrick half yelled grabbing the bottle from him .

Lucien ruffled his hair as he looked at the door to see a familiar person coming in .

He gritted his teeth as he walked towards him .

Before Derrick could get to him , he landed a punch on Jason’s face and Jason who wasn’t expecting that fell to the ground as his lips bled .

He stood up immediately and went after him but Lucien was quick to duck as he kicked him in his stomach sending him to the floor with blood pumping out of his mouth .

He was about stepping on his face with his shoe when Derrick drew him from him .

” What has gotten over you dude ” he said giving him a knock .

” I am dying Derrick ” he said holding his chest suddenly .

” Get a hold of your self and solve the errors you already created and stop creating new errors .” He said and gave one last look at Derrick who still laid on the floor before walking out of the bar .

Lucien felt his knees go weak as he followed Derrick who was already waiting for him in the car .

He opened the door and Derrick sighed .

” The only way you can win Lucia back is by getting back to your feet and stop being stupid , get out of your drunk state. Lucia won’t talk to a drunk man . You won her heart before , what makes you think you can’t win her again . From everything I see , she is still in love with you so wake up. ” He said and by the time he finished talking , Lucien felt better .

“Thank you Derrick, thanks for always being here ” he said hugging him making Derrick giggle .

” I am not Lucia dude ” he said with a smile making Lucien poke his back .

The ringing of a phone brought them back and Derrick picked up the phone which was his and creased his brows at the unsaved number .

He swiped on the receiver and a familiar female voice came on.

“Bella ?” He asked and Lucien turned to look at him with a puzzled look as he allowed them talk .

” Who was that ” he asked as soon as Derrick dropped the call .

” Bella , a lady I met at twitzers. She is a friend ” he said turning on the ignition of his car.

” Ok if you say so but just be careful . Some girls can be very tricky and desperate ” Lucien said remembering Cara’s plots.

” Trust me , I fell for Thelma and she got all my heart and no other lady can get close to it .” He said and Lucien smiled.

He wish Lucia can forgive him easily , he miss those lips of hers .

He chuckled at his thoughts making Derrick to look at him before turning his attention back to the road.

Derrick pulled over by Lucien’s house and gave him a fist bump.

” Please you guys should take care of Lucia while I work on myself to come get her ” he said and Derrick smiled .

” Sure bro , but be fast about it . I need some space with my woman ” he said smiling naughtily.

” Whatever, so when is the wedding coming up again ” he asked and Derrick smiled.

” Well maybe next week , Aunt is disturbing my life ” he said with a sigh .

” Didn’t you tell her she is pregnant , your aunt can be so impossible at times. ” Lucien said with gritted teeth.

” Yeah , I did. I didn’t even give her the chance to reply because I couldn’t bear any ill talk at the moment. ” He said and from the looks of his eyes , it was slowly weighing him down .

” Forget about her , I will go talk to her tomorrow and get her to accept Thelma or I will kill her ” Lucien said and Derrick immediately turned to look at him .

” Kidding” he said laughing .

” But I want to make it real ” Derick said and that was when Lucien’s eyes widened.
