Jason smiled as he remembered the shocked look on Cara’s face when he footed the bill with his credit gold card even she did not own .

She shut the door breathing heavily .

Lucien laughed on seeing the way she ran away .

Lucia heard slow movements downnward and knew he was going down to eat .

“That perv” she said cussing .

Immediately her phone rang and it was Quinn calling .

She picked it up immediately and smiled .

“Hello Quinn . I guess you already landed ” Lucia said smiling .

” Yeah yah babe , sorry I left impromptu. Schools are about resuming ” Quinn explained .

” Well its fine . I felt a bit bad but I am fine . Thanks..”

“Don’t just bother thanking me . You are like a sister to me ” Quinn said making Lucia smile our tears .

,”Thanks Quinn” Lucia said sniffing .

” Well how is my brother , any attitude since I left ” Quinn asked making Lucia roll her eyes on remembering what happened earlier today .

Lucia narrated everything that happened and Quinn fell her ribs cracked up .

Lucia frowned on hearing her laughter .

” It’s not funny ” Lucia said but it didn’t stop Quinn from laughing .

” I will just end the call right now if you don’t stop this laughter ” Lucia warned sternly making Quinn hold herself back .

” Fine I am sorry but it was just too funny ” Quinn said apologizing .

” It’s fine .

“Ma’am Quinn we are already at the mansion” the driver said driving her inside after the gates were opened .

It was such a long ride from the airport .

” I will talk to you later Lucia ” Quinn said and hung up .

Lucia tucked the phone into her pocket before falling on the bed.

She had a knock on her door immediately and she wondered if Thelma was back or was it Lucien .

Her heart beat increased at the thought of the person being Lucien .

She took slow but steady strides to the door before opening it .

And yeah it was Lucien.

” I have been waiting for you to come join me for the lunch you prepared but no traces of you so I decided to come get you before the meal gets cold .” Lucien said making Lucia crease her brows .

” When do you start thinking about me joining you for a meal ” Lucia said unable to keep shut .

” Today , I want you to taste your food before I eat ” he said , winked at her before strolling back to the dinning .

” What ! He felt I poisoned the food ” Lucia said feeling tears gathering up .

” He is not worth your tears ” her mind said.

She quickly wiped get eyes and we my inside the room.

Lucien knew he had just acted bad a while ago but he doesn’t want her feeling like he cared for her which he didn’t ..

He hoped she would come down for lunch ” he said picking one of the fries and munching it.

“Are you no longer afraid of death” Lucia said surprised to see him eating..

” Could it be he was just pulling her legs ” her thought rang .

“A penny for your thoughts ” Lucien said wonderung if she remembers anything .

” It’s nothing that matters to you ” Lucia said and sat down farher from him .

Lucien took note of it but just decided to ignore her .

He watched her serve herself and he sighed .

Why can’t he just be friendly with her ” he said focusing on his meal .

” Bye Mom ” Dos said pecking his mum before hopping into the car .

He was going to test Camilla today to see if she really wants to be friends with him or because he saved her from bullies .

The driver parked the car and immediately did came down putting on his face cap which covered his face a bit.

He wasn’t ready for the squeals from the ladies .

He sighted Camilla by the end of the passage, she wasn’t alone , she is talking .

They were laughing very hard and Dos wondered when the friendship started.

He watched and noticed a frown crossed Camilla’s face which she quickly closed with a smile which Does knew wasn’t genuine .

After sometime the girl left and Dos felt a tap on his back .

” Lover boy ” a guy said grinning .

Dos gave him a little stare before walking away .

He wouldn’t reply because everyone thinks he is dumb .

He bumped into Camilla who looked tensed .

He tried holding her but she pulled back .

“. Huh” he wondered .

He demonstrated with his palm “what is it ” .

” Dos please can I talk to you later ” she said and ran off .

Dos watched her run off and ruffled his hair ,

“What was wrong with her ” he muttered and then he remembered the girl talking to her .

He also remembered the way she frowned when she said something .

With that he marched towards the passage to find her .

He was going to deal with her .
