My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth)

Chapter 510

Chapter 510

Kenneth arrived, with his tall and slender figure standing in the front corridor. His hand was tucked in

his pocket, and the champagne-coloured lights of the corridor illuminated his handsome face. He

dressed impeccably from head to toe, wearing a black shirt and trousers, exuding an aura of noble and

charm.

“Meow, meow!”

Rylie called out twice.

Arabella didn't expect to meet him here. She stood frozen in place.

Kenneth had come to find Rylie. Rylie usually clung to him, never leaving his side. Whenever another

girl appeared by his side, Rylie would fiercely meow as if declaring her sovereignty, even though he

had no idea what authority a little cat was declaring.

Today, Rylie suddenly disappeared. When he found her, he witnessed a scene in the corridor. His Rylie

was being held in the arms of a delicate girl. The girl lowered her head, seemingly speaking happily to

Rylie, who had always harbored a seemingly unfounded hostility towards all girls, unexpectedly

became docile and gentle in the girl's embrace. When the girl's tiny hand gently caressed Rylie's soft

white fur, Rylie closed her eyes in contentment.

“Meow, meow.”

Rylie meowed twice at Kenneth, seeming to say, “Look, your lady is here. From now on, you can no

longer flirt with other women!”

Kenneth strode forward, his long legs propelling him closer to Arabella. He had seen her in the car

when school ended in the afternoon. And now, he saw her up close, finding that her fair skin looked

delicate; her clear almond-shaped eyes were beautiful, and they sparkled like stars whenever she

looked at him. Her eyes were full of tenderness and longing.

Unfortunately, she wore a veil, concealing her genuine features.

“This is my cat,” Kenneth said in a deep voice.

“Oh,” Arabella's slender body trembled slightly. Suppressing her inner excitement, she handed Rylie to

him. “She followed me, so I hugged her for a moment. Now, I'm returning her to you.”

Kenneth looked at her and reached out to take the cat.

“Meow, meow!”

Rylie didn't want to go with Kenneth. Her little paws flailed wildly and caught hold of Arabella's long

hair, giving it a firm tug.

“Ah!”

Arabella let out a soft cry as her delicate body fell forward, and the next second, she collided with

Kenneth's warm and sturdy chest.

Their bodies instantly pressed against each other. The refreshing and pleasant scent of his masculine

presence quickly invaded her senses.

Arabella raised her clear eyes, looking at him in confusion.

Kenneth had not expected this turn of event either. Now, her delicate and soft body was in his embrace,

her small face tilted up, her bright eyes staring into his dark depths like a frightened deer.

Kenneth felt like his heart had been lightly scratched by a small cat's paw, a mix of pain and tingling

sensation.

This girl resembled Rylie in his arms.

“Are you okay?” Kenneth asked in a low voice.

Arabella shook her head. “I'm fine, I'm sorry…”

“Then please let go of your hands.”

Only then did Arabella realize that in her panic earlier, her two small hands had tightly grasped his

black shirt at his waist. Now, her soft fingertips, through the thin and expensive fabric, had come into

contact with his solid muscles which were firm and full of masculine strength.
