Chapter 6 Silence in Response to Change

In the Mitchell family, the atmosphere is tense.

Peter had just answered a phone call before pacing back and forth in the living room with a gloomy

face.

Edith came back from outside with a puzzled face, "Dad?"

Peter smashed a cup in anger: ''That stupid Lexie! The pictures of the contract sent over to me are all

Lexie had no desire to dwell with her, and silently stayed within the side room, guarding her own acre of

land.

But not long after, Edith suddenly came.

Howard family? Please go out."
