My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 876

Chapter 876

"It's 26 dollars," said the wife.

Bradley had an excellent memory. He had seen the menu and knew the dishes she had served

amounted to 30 dollars.

"Isn't it 30 dollars?"

"The beer is on the house for you."

"No need."

Bradley paid the original price.

Just a few steps away, his stomach started feeling uncomfortable. Suddenly, everything went black,

and he collapsed.

The stall owners abandoned their cooking and rushed to him. One called 911, while the other

supported Bradley.

Soon, an ambulance took Bradley to the hospital. After an examination, the doctor learned that Bradley

had a bad stomach, aggravated by beer and stimulating food tonight.

Even though Bradley had his phone, it couldn't be unlocked, so the stall owners had to pay for his

medical expenses.

Only after the doctor took over Bradley's care did the stall owners leave the hospital.

Bradley woke up in the hospital amidst the scent of disinfectant. He opened his eyes, looking at the

bright light above. The events just before he had lost consciousness replayed in his mind.

"Are you awake?" the nurse asked. "Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"

Bradley pulled out the IV needle from his arm and got out of bed.

"Sir, your condition is serious. You need—"

Bradley turned and asked the nurse sharply, "Where do I pay?"

"The owners of the barbecue stall who brought you here already took care of your medical bill."

Bradley was taken aback. The fact that the couple, running a late-night barbecue stall, could make so

little yet helped pay his medical bills—this kindness from strangers made him feel both warmed and

scared.

Bradley then called his assistant. "Dylan, it's me. I'm at the hospital. Come and pick me up."

-

Half an hour later, Dylan arrived at the hospital in his car.

Bradley got in and directed Dylan, "I'll guide you, you drive."

"Okay."

Following Bradley's instructions, Dylan arrived across from the barbecue stall.

"Do you see this couple clearly?"

Dylan nodded. "Yes."

Bradley instructed, "Take down their names and phone numbers. Tomorrow, buy a shop nearby and gift

it to them."

"Alright," Dylan replied.

The couple running the barbecue stall on that street had never expected that their simple act would Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

lead to such a grand gesture.

-

Bradley stayed at a hotel in Capitus. Upon returning, he instructed, "Dylan, find out about the recent

engagement of the Foster heir and his fiancee."

"Sure thing, Mr. Warner."

Bradley took a shower, put on his pajamas, and picked up his phone. He repeatedly looked at Esther's

photos on his phone.

Whenever he had time, he would look at them.

He feared that he might forget how she looked like one day.

All of them were wedding photos taken by the photographer. At that time, she had been radiant like

stars in the night sky.

Despite being so dazzling and beautiful back then, he had failed to cherish her.

-

The Fosters had not wanted to hide Logan and Esther's engagement, so Dylan sent the information he

collected to Bradley within half an hour.

"Mr. Warner, Mr. Logan Foster is going to get engaged to Ms. Esther Quill..."
