Niguel made slow steps towards the elevator and her words kept replaying in his head.

Mia made her way out of the company in anger and also in confusion.

Angry because he pursued and ridiculed her in front of his assistant. Confused because she didn’t hear any news about him being engaged to any lady talkless of his assistant.
