Skylar glanced at the villa and continued, “Even if it’s repaired, Vera’s family won’t be able to live here.
Just sell it.”
Patricia was stunned. “The negative items are all dealt with. Why can’t they still live here? What about the Grimwood Residence?”
“The Grimwood Residence is fine. But if Vera’s family continues to live here, it will catch fire again,” Skylar said solemnly.
Patricia sighed in relief. “Okay, I’ll let them know.”
Skylar handled the two items in front of Patricia. She prepared a few talismans and burned them together,

“Vera, our family has paid a terrible price for you this time. Your parents, Aunt Hayden, Uncle Marlon, Hector, and even your grandfather–have all been affected. Fortunately, no lives were lost.
“I asked Skylar, and she said that if we had waited another month to find her, our family would have been doomed. Thinking back on it now, it’s truly chilling.” Patricia lamented in the family group chat, expressing her relief.
Vera’s expression was dark and grim. She bit her lip tightly.
Skylar really did have some skill.
The following day at work, Skylar updated Alexander on the situation with the Ruell family. After hearing that everything was resolved, Alexander smiled with relief.
“That’s good news,” he said.

“It feels amazing! He actually admitted his mistake to me.”
Skylar smiled and asked, “How is he recovering?”
Caleb replied, “He’ll probably lose some sensitivity in his right hand. He mentioned that he’ll need to endure some hardships during his recovery and then get treatment abroad for a while. It shouldn’t be too serious. Since he’s not the one playing the piano or violin, the impact is minimal.”
Boys tended to be more rational about these things. Once something happened, there was no need to dwell on it. The focus was on the future and taking action.
