People needed reason, but they didn't need it at any time.

If people were too rational, the villains would be given opportunities.

The man was almost dying of pain.

He looked pale with sweat gathering on his forehead. He felt the sharp pain, but he couldn't dare to

breathe.

Faye stared at the man for a few seconds. She uttered some words, "Who is behind the attack?"

The man gasped and pulled out a smile that was uglier than crying. "You know the answer. You..."

Before he finished speaking, Faye suddenly increased her strength on the hand holding the dagger.

The man screamed with his pupils widening.

Faye said, "Put your position clearly. I am asking you for the exact answer, not teasing you. I don't want

to guess."

Hearing her words, the man shivered.

There was a moment of silence in the damp basement.

After a while, the other man trembled and said, "If... if I tell you, will you let me go?"

Faye tilted her head to look at him coldly. "No."

The man was about to cry. "It was really the first time I had done such a thing. Please don't kill me."

Faye said, "I give you thirty seconds to tell me the mastermind. Who say it first will be sent to the police

station to accept legal sanctions, and the other one..."

Faye didn't finish her words, but the two men got the implication clearly.

Who told the truth first could be saved for his life, while who said latter would be killed.

It was almost time soon. The two men looked at each other and spoke in unison, being afraid of death.

"It's Brandon."

After saying this, they stared at each other maliciously.

"I said it first."

"It is clear that I said it first."

In the face of living, false brotherhood was as thin as a paper.

Faye looked at them quarreling with an indifferent face. The next second, she pulled out the dagger Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

inserted in the man's thigh and threw it aside. Then she stood up and walked outside the door.

The two man screamed hysterically.

"Send me to the police station. I told the truth first."

"It's me. I said it first."

Hearing their shouts, Faye opened the basement door and walked away without a backward glance.

Seeing her coming out, one of the bodyguards at the door greeted her respectfully.

"Mdam Farrell."

Faye looked up at him. "I have gotten the answer. Send them to the police station."

The bodyguard said, "Okay."

Faye nodded slightly at him and stepped to the front yard.

Looking at her back, the bodyguards standing at the door looked at each other, but no one said a word.

In the living room, Ethan added coffee for Colin and asked in a low voice, "Are you sure? You wanna

deal with it in person?"

Colin picked up the coffee cup and sent it to his mouth. He took a sip and replied, "Yes."

Ethan said, "The reason why I transferred Hunter back is to let him do it for you."

Colin chuckled. "I can't trust anyone now."

Ethan ridiculed, "He is one of us."

Colin raised his eyebrows. "He is faithful to you."

Ethan said, "Don't forget, you put up half the money to train these people."

Colin scoffed. "Don't talk nonsense, I am a serious businessman, and I don't want to go with you."

Hearing his words, Ethan laughed with angry. "Didn't you just say that you were not a serious

businessman?"

Colin gave him a faint smile. "I have the final say."
