The coldness in Jake's eyes disappeared soon. He then strode to catch up with Tiffany.

nightmares recently."

had one more character, that is Old Mr. Farrell."

Jake strode to the single sofa opposite Tiffany, sat down, took a glance at the young man beside her,

and spoke with a smile, "Ms. Shaw, should we evade your friend?"

days ago. We often have nightmares recently because you're two pressured."

slightly. She adjusted her posture, gently kicked the young man's ankle with her high heel, and said,

"Wait for me outside."

The young man was very sensible and didn't raise any questions. He nodded obediently, stood up, and

walked to the door.

Tiffany watched the young man close the door and then shifted her gaze onto Jake, saying, "Blaine is

still alive."

possible?"

Tiffany picked up the glass of water before her fretfully, took a sip of the water, and continued, "He hit

my car last time. I saw it clearly."

Jake asked, "Why didn't you call the police?"

Tiffany said scornfully, "Why should I call the police? Isn't it more interesting to appreciate his

embarrassment of having to hide himself from place to place indecently?"

Jake asked, "Aren't you afraid that he may resort to some extreme ways when he's cornered?"

Tiffany replied, "He's just a loser no matter what fuss he can make. I don't need to be afraid of him."

It was true that Tiffany really looked down upon Blaine and her words were full of contempt and

sarcasm.

After saying those words, Tiffany paused for a while and then continued, "Jake, how long have we

known each other?"

Jake chuckled and then answered, "It's been too long that I can't remember it."

Tiffany said, "It's really a miracle that I didn't get insane after living in a prestigious family like the Farrell

family for years."

Jake smiled gently. He reached out to take the glass from Tiffany, stood up, and took another glass of

water for him. When he handed the glass to her, he deliberately said in a low voice, "You've

accumulated many burdens in your heart. Though you've been having psychological treatment in my

clinic over the years, you haven't opened your heart to me."

Tiffany moved her lips scornfully when she heard Jake's words and said, "I don't have the guts to do

so."

Jake replied, "It's understandable."

After Jake finished those words, both of them remained silent.

Tiffany didn't take the initiative to talk about the past, and Jake was not in a hurry.

About half a minute later, Jake slightly curled his fingers and broke the silence, "Ms. Shaw, I will leave

Cocanel about a week later."

Tiffany asked in astonishment, "Why?"

another city."

help."

you suddenly ask me to quit not long ago?"

Jake smiled shallowly and said, "I won't probe into this if it's inconvenient for you to tell me."
