Chapter 400 The Surging of Undercurrent

In the room, undercurrents surged under the calm conversation.

Outside the room, Colin put his hands in his pockets and smirked.

Abbot was standing next to him, made a noise by 'tsk', and asked, "Do your vanity greatly satisfied?"

Colin looked at him and smiled lightly, "Very much."

Abbot replied, "You're dramatic."

Colin responded, "Better than being stupid."

Hearing that, Abbot twitched his mouth twice and was about to refute. Suddenly, there was a noise of

chairs colliding in the room.

Both of them were stunned. Colin cursed with a swear word, frowned, and pushed the door open.

In the room, Maxwell stood in front of Faye with a faint smile and his hands raised above his head.

Faye was sitting on a chair, holding a half-broken wine bottle in her hand, which was directly pointing at

his lower abdomen which was approaching her.

Maxwell said, "I am just kidding. Calm down."

Faye said coldly, "I don't like to joke with someone I am not familiar with."

Maxwell replied, "Well, nobody will know nobody since the beginning. They can only get to know each

other after some time."

There was tension between Faye and Maxwell, and neither of them noticed that the door had been

pushed open from the outside. NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

After Maxwell finished his words, and before Faye could respond, Colin's gloomy voice came from the

back "I'm afraid you won't live that long."

Maxwell raised his eyebrows after hearing that. When he was about to turn his head, he was kicked on

the back of his waist.

Maxwell turned around instantly when Abbot just retracted his leg. He looked at Maxwell with a false

smile and asked, "Does it hurt?"

Maxwell stared at him.

Abbot smiled cynically, "It's good that you feel the pain. It proves that you are still alive."

Maxwell was filled with hostility while Abbot provoked him.

Abbot sneered and raised his chin at Colin, "Colin, take Faye to the next room."

Colin glanced at Abbot and said, "Don't be too hush."

Abbot smiled disapprovingly and said, "Don't worry. We are in a society that rules by law and we are

civilized people."

After Abbot finished speaking, he looked at Faye, winked, and said, "Don't worry. Let me take care of

this kind of rubbish."

Faye and Abbot had known each other since their childhood and she knew how capable he could be.

She stood up with no doubt and left the room after saying "Thank you."

Colin and Faye left the room one after another.

Abbot walked to the door and locked it. After that, he turned to look at Maxwell and smirked, "I heard

that you are famous for good in fighting in Bomsville?"

Maxwell sneered, "The young master of the Carters?"

Abbot took off his suit and threw it on the chair beside him. He lowered his head, rolled up his cuffs,

and said, "You don't have to be easy on me. It doesn't matter if I can't beat you. Anyway, I'm not the

best fighter among my brothers. I won't feel ashamed."

Maxwell teased, "It's such an enviable brotherhood. Mr. Farrell is spending time with his loved one the

next door while Mr. Carter is here to fight on his behalf."

Abbot raised his eyes to look at Maxwell, "Even if I am the one who needs to spend time with my loved

one and you are having a hundred people with you, Colin will still let me do this."

After Abbot finished speaking, he smiled sarcastically and said, "Anyway, you won't be able to

understand since you have no friends."

After Abbot had done talking, his expression changed and he started to punch.

In the next room.

Colin was smiling in a low tone while he was hugging Faye. His warm breath hit on her neck, and he

said in a low and deep voice, "Even with me alone will be able to defeat the crowd. Isn't it?"

The way Colin said it was very distracting.

Faye pursed her lips slightly and admitted frankly, "It is."

Colin smiled happily, "Faye."

Faye was confused and asked, "Huh?"

Colin continued, "Honey."

Faye tilted her head and asked, "What's wrong?"

Colin laughed in a deep voice, "Why are you being so nice to me?"

Faye was silent for a few seconds. After a while, she said softly, "I want to learn from you, to show my

love for you more straightforwardly and aggressively."

Colin's body froze suddenly. He was standing up straight and looking right into Faye's eyes.

Looking at Colin's eyes, Faye got nervous involuntarily.

Colin's Adam's apple was rolling, and his voice was hoarse, "Honey, I..."

Before Colin could finish his words, there was a hurried knock on the door.

Colin frowned. In the next second, the person who was outside the door said, "Fuck. Colin, stop doing

love talk with your wife. The two people next door are going to maim each other..."
