Chapter 346 He's Coveted Her for a Long Time
Faye became silent when she heard Colin's voice.
Several seconds later, she said in an unnatural tone, "I'm on the way to the airport."
Colin frowned. He fretfully tucked at his necktie and said, "Wait for me at the airport."
Faye stopped him, "Colin, you can't go to Roxford."
Colin asked, "Why?"
Faye held the steering wheel more tightly and said, "You have a special identity and many people are
watching you. If you go there, you will attract the media's attention and even trigger some negative
remarks."
Colin said in a deep voice, "Then you can't go there either. Send someone else there."
Faye drove the car steadily, not responding to his words.
The two simultaneously fell into silence. Several seconds later, Colin took a deep breath and said to
Robert, "Go to the airport."
Then he asked Faye to wait for him and ended the call.
Colin, who was sitting in the backseat, looked very gloomy on the way to the airport. Robert drove the
car gingerly, afraid that even taking a deep breath would offend Colin.
When they were about to arrive, Robert took a glance at Colin through the rearview mirror and asked
gingerly, "Mr. Farrell, are you really going to Roxford? Seriously?"
Colin replied calmly, "Yes."
Robert said, "I heard it was seriously damaged by a snowstorm. Even if you and Mrs. Farrell go there,
you may still fail to find those stars."
Colin raised his eyes to look at Robert and asked, "What do you want to say?"
Robert looked into Colin's eyes through the rearview mirror and asked hesitantly, "How about sending
me there? Our company has been in turmoil recently. If you leave the company rashly, I'm afraid..."
Colin interrupted him in a cold voice, "Robert."
Robert straightened his back stiffly. "Yes?"
Colin continued, "You've worked for me for many years. If you can't even deal with these old men, I
think it's unnecessary for you to stay in this position."
Robert was lost for words.
Colin who was gazing at the rearview mirror withdrew his gaze and closed his eyes. He continued,
"The Farrell Group's management level is reorganizing recently. Those old men won't act rashly."
Robert didn't dare to have any other opinions.
Collin ordered, "Speed up."
Ten minutes later, their car stopped at the entrance of the airport.
Colin got out of the car. Robert followed him and called out his name, "Mr. Farrell."
Colin turned around to look at Robert and said, "Call me if there is any problem. If you can't reach me,
contact Abbot or Ethan."
Robert replied, "Okay."
After giving instructions to Robert, Colin strode into the airport. He took out his phone and called Faye
while walking.
Several seconds later, Faye finally answered the call, "Are you here?"
Colin replied, "Yep. Where are you now?"
Faye answered, "The lounge."
Several minutes later, Colin met Faye in the lounge.
Faye looked helpless when she saw Colin.
Colin curled up his thin lips into a smile, strode toward Faye, squatted down before her, and looked into
her eyes, "Roxford is a dangerous place. I will worry about you if you go there alone."
Then he held Faye's hand tightly and said, "So, I'll go there with you."
Faye looked down and remarked, "Colin, you must be crazy."
Colin smiled teasingly and enchantingly and said, "Yep, I've gotten crazy."
Half an hour later, Colin and Faye boarded the airline to the city next to Roxford.
As Roxford was a small place, it didn't have an airport. Therefore, they could only fly to the next city
and then took a bus to Roxford.
On the plane, Colin entwined his fingers with Faye's and intimately rubbed her fingertips one by one.
Faye slightly moved her fingers and said with her eyes closed, "Have a nap. Maybe we won't have time
to rest after arrival."
Colin said in a deep voice, "Yep, you may have a nap."
Faye opened her eyes and tilted her head to look at Colin. "What about you?" asked she.
Colin looked back at her with a smile and said, "I'm not tired. I want to watch you."
Faye was rendered speechless.
She pressed her lips when she looked into his smiling eyes.
He no longer hid his love for her ever since he confessed to her.
If he was too enthusiastic, she would get unaccustomed. Nonetheless, he was very mild and infiltrated
her life bit by bit.
When she realized this, she had gotten accustomed to it.
Faye chuckled when she thought of the dissolute mask that Colin wore when he tried to approach her
at the beginning.
"What are you laughing at?"
Colin raised his brows.
Faye replied smilingly, "Nothing. I was thinking that we really couldn't judge a man by his looks."
Colin asked in confusion, "What?"
Faye's smile widened as she explained, "No one has expected that Mr. Farrell who has many scandals
is actually an affectionate man."
This was the first time that Faye used this word on him. Colin asked teasingly, "Isn't it good?"
Faye looked into Colin's eyes and replied, "It's good."
Colin snorted, leaned forward, peck her lips, and said righteously, "When Abbot said I was your simp, I
didn't deny it and told him I had no choice because I had coveted you for a long time."Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
