Chapter 343 She’ll Deal with It Personally

This was another tough problem.

The signal in Roxford was weak. In addition to the snowstorm, the signal became weaker.

The whole morning, Galen was trying to reach those stars’ managers but failed.

She got very anxious. Two workers who had worked in the PR Department for several years had been Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

answering calls the whole morning. Their throats got dry.

One of them sipped a cup of tea to moisten her throat, glanced at Galen, and asked, “How can we cool

down this matter?”

Galen was still trying to get in touch with those managers. She answered with a frown, “Cool it down?

Impossible.”

“Gosh, those stars must have gone crazy. They can do charity if they want to hype up. In the face of

such a disaster, donating money is a good choice. It won’t arouse the public’s disgust; instead, it will

give them a favorable impression.”

Galen didn’t respond to her words. She felt perturbed when hearing the busy tone from the other end of

the phone.

Perceiving that Galen was disturbed, her colleague shut up sensibly.

When Galen and her two colleagues were dealing with this matter outside, Faye was also working on it

in her office.

She called the chief director of a magazine office she had known before and the latter told her that

these stars would probably be criticized by the Cyberspace Administration.

“These stars will definitely get punished so as to warn others. There’s no remedy.”

Faye told her their plan, “Farrell Media doesn’t plan to get them off.”

“That’s great. You can’t get them off even if you want to. If you do that, Farrell Media might be stuck in

trouble.”

Holding her phone, Faye stood in front of the window, looked out of the window, and said in a calm

voice, “I’m afraid that it will impact us even though we don’t plan to help them.”

“You can’t reach them? You’d better ask them to come back as soon as possible first.”

Faye rubbed between her eyebrows and said, “Okay.”

The chief editor Faye called was the wife of the leader of the Cyberspace Administration. He was very

impartial and incorruptible. After talking with her, Faye basically knew what to do.

It seemed like those six stars were bound to be a negative example.

After ending the call with the chief director, Faye stood up and walked to the door.

When she opened the door, she found Galen pacing back and forth with a frown, so she asked blandly,

"Haven’t you reached them?”

Galen turned around when she heard Faye’s voice and shook her head, “Nah.”

Standing at the door, Faye pondered for a while and then said, “I’ll go to Roxford.”

Galen asked in shock, “What?”

Faye said gloomily, “I have no other choices. They’re now in Roxford and I guess they have no idea

about the discussion online. However, what they do there will be broadcasted live by the journalists. If

this goes on, the whole Farrell Media will be implicated by them.”

Galen stammered, “But…”

Faye continued, “Don’t disclose my schedule to others. I will go to Roxford secretly.”

Galen understood and asked, “Okay. Shall I go with you?”

Faye had no idea about the condition in Roxford, so she wasn’t sure if she could arrive there safely and

find the six stars. Hence, she declined, “No need. Stay here and try to contact them. If you reach them,

tell them to go back.”

Galen looked at Faye and nodded.

After finishing the conversation, Faye turned around and went back into her office.

Galen followed her in and closed the door. She then asked in a lower voice, “Ms. Nash, it’s very

dangerous, isn’t it?”

While tidying up the things on the desk, Faye replied, “This is our best choice so far.”

Galen pressed her lips and murmured, “You do this for Mr. Farrell, right? Originally, he planned to

publicize the company’s charity project in Roxford in the spring. If there’s any problem with it at this

critical moment…”

Faye shot a glance at her.

Discerning the warnings in Faye’s eyes, Galen immediately shut up.

Faye took her coat and purse and then headed outside. When she walked past Galen, she warned in a

bland voice, “Don’t talk nonsense with Mr. Farrell.”

Galen stammered, “I-I see, Ms. Nash.”

After leaving her office, Faye directly took the elevator to the underground parking lot.

She drove out of the building. Several minutes later, she connected her phone to the car radio through

Bluetooth and called Colin.

Colin was having a meeting. Therefore, his assistant Robert answered the call.

Robert greeted her in an extremely low voice, “Mrs. Farrell.”

Faye asked, “Is he having a meeting?”

Robert replied, “Yes.”

Faye tapped on the steering wheel, not knowing how to tell Colin that she was going to Roxford.

If Colin learned about it, he would probably object to it.

Faye pondered for nearly half a minute. In the end, she decided to tell him the truth. After all, she

couldn’t keep it a secret even if she wanted to. She told Robert, “Tell him that I prepare to go to Roxford

after the meeting is over.”

Before Robert could say something, she added, “Tell him that I will take care of myself and there won’t

be any danger.”

This time, the one speaking at the other end of the phone was not Robert.

Colin asked in a deep voice, “Where are you now?”
