Chapter 292 Getting Used To It

Faye looked at Colin somehow blankly, with a tinge of innocence beyond description in her eyes.

Colin looked down at Faye. He curved his thin lips, and he said in a deep voice, "Do you want a baby?"

Faye was silent.

They looked at each other with their thoughts.

After a long while, Colin lowered his head and pressed his forehead against Faye's, "You won't get

pregnant, so you don't need to use any contraception or take medicine. Those things are not good for

your health."

Faye's heart skipped a beat when she heard this, and the corners of his lips moved, "You are infertile?"

Those were the words made under the influence of liquor. Faye's eyes lost focus.

Colin stepped back and stared at her, thinking that she probably didn't know what she was talking

about.

After half a minute, Colin stopped pinching Faye's chin; he picked her up from the bathtub and said in a

hoarse voice, "When you are ready to accept me, we're gonna be fruitful and multiplying soon." NôvelDrama.Org exclusive content.

Faye blinked, "What?"

Colin said, "Go to sleep, baby, you're drunk."

The next day.

One advantage of tavern wine was that no matter how much you drank, you wouldn't have a hangover

the next day.

Faye was still sleeping soundly when the phone rang.

Before Faye frowned, the man lying beside her had already answered it, and he kept his voice

extremely low, "Robert."

When Robert heard Colin's voice, he got flustered, and his voice was lower than Colin's, "Mr. Farrell, I

found out that the person who had a blind date with Lance yesterday was Jeremy Mane's daughter,

Felicia Mane."

Colin didn't answer.

Robert held his breath, not daring to urge.

Colin tiptoed to his feet and walked out with his phone in hand. It wasn't until the door was closed that

he returned to his normal voice and said, "Jeremy Mane?"

Robert, "Yes."

Colin sneered, "Who set them up? Tiffany or Blaine?"

Robert answered, "It should be Blaine."

Colin sneered, "It seems that Blaine is somehow shorthanded now. He is trying to strengthen people's

support."

Robert asked, "Do we need to cause them some trouble?"

Colin leaned against the stair railing, "No, the lady of the Mane family isn't even interested in Lance."

Robert said, "I'm afraid that Blaine will force the Mane family to submit to make Hugh Langford work for

him faithfully."

Colin smiled mockingly, "I'd like to see how capable Blaine is."

After hanging up the phone, Colin walked back to the bedroom.

Faye's sleep was so light that even though Colin had answered the phone in time, she was still woken

up.

Faye was washing up in the bathroom when Colin returned to the bedroom.

Colin pushed in the door, leaned against the door frame, and smiled, "Woken up by the call?"

Faye, "Yes."

Colin strode forward, tied her hair that had begun to struggle with his slender fingers, and asked in a

low voice, "Did you sleep well last night?"

Having got used to Colin's actions, Faye brushed her teeth and washed her face naturally, "Yes."

Colin asked, "Do you feel any discomfort?"

Faye said, "No."

No matter what Colin asked, Faye kept replying with one word.

Colin laid one hand on the edge of the sink and propped himself up, holding Faye in his arms, and

joked, "Too lazy to talk to me?"

Faye rinsed her mouth, wiped it with the disposable face towel on the side, and threw it into the trash

can. Then she turned her head and said, "I don't want to talk when I have toothpaste in my mouth."

Colin let go of her hair and let it fall. Then he curved his thin lips, bent down, and landed kisses on the

back of Faye's neck.

Faye was speechless.

When Colin was done, he laid his jaw on Faye's shoulder, "Forget about Ralph. I'll ask Ethan to deal

with it."

Faye raised her eyes and looked at Colin in the mirror, "Do you want him to rot in jail?"

Colin said solemnly, "He did something wrong, and he has to pay the price. We are not bullying him, we

are educating him. If we don't teach him a good lesson this time, he will push his luck and do the same

thing next time when he has the chance."

Colin paused, and then continued, "And the one he offends next time is not as kind as you, he will

suffer a big loss."

Seeing the serious look on Colin's face, Faye turned to look at him.

Colin lowered his eyes, "What?"

Faye said, "You are handsome and kind."

Colin raised an eyebrow.

Faye smiled, "I have something to do in the office this morning, so I'll leave first."

Colin retracted his hand on the sink and stood up, "I'll ask Robert to bring you breakfast."

Faye walked past Colin, smiling, "Before nine-thirty."

Colin, "OK."

Seeing that Faye was about to walk out, Colin suddenly stopped her, "Honey."

Faye turned around, "What's wrong?"

Colin's thin lips curved in a meaningful smile, "Honey?"

Faye was speechless.

It was only at this moment that Faye realized that she was used to the way he called her.

Over time, she had become accustomed to it.

Seeing that Faye didn't speak, Colin didn't tease her anymore. He changed the subject and said calmly,

"You don't need to take any contraceptive measures. Unless one day you tell me you want to have a

baby, I won't allow this accident to happen."

Faye was new to love, not to life. She asked after a moment of daze, "What did you do?"
