Chapter 405 You Still Love Me

When Angie heard this, the look on her face totally changed.

Great family background was her biggest strength.

Her father was of high social status, but reputation was significant to him.

If it was not Selina who threatened her like that, Angie might not be afraid.

Selina was different, as she was from a great family with great power. And William cared more about

Vivian because of that son of a bitch.

Angie clenched her fists and bit her own lips tightly, unwilling to concede their argument.

“Selina. no one will believe you. Why would I commit such a crime as murder? Do you think people are

blind and without their sense of judgement? Do you think you can talk nonsense as you want, just

because you come from a family of high status?” Angie raised his head suddenly and refuted loudly as

if doing so could make herself more confident.

Angie’s such behavior seemed to be a threat, but in fact it might be a persuasion to herself.

Vivian said, “Angie, this is a manor with most advanced security and supervision systems.”

There weren’t many security guards around the gate, but the intelligent security systems in this manor

was quite advanced.

Angie blinked her eyes and said, “Vivian, William will not let you do what you want to do to me. Don’t

forget I am William’s girlfriend. We love each other so much. You, just get William’s temporary attention

because of that son of a bitch. Do really see yourself as William’s wife?

The look in Vivian’s eyes became gloomy.

Vivian thought Angie was right. What William would do was still unknown yet. As she said, they loved

each other so much.

William turned his body slightly to avoid Angie, looking at the three of them, not treating anyone

specially, and asked coldly, “What happened?”

“William, I couldn’t find you in the hospital. I tried my best to find out where you are and wanted to bring

some food to you in the morning. But those security guards wouldn’t let me in. William, this definitely

was not your idea, right?” Angie said and then looked at Vivian as if she was implying that it was Vivian

who made the order without William’s consent.

Being falsely accused by Angie, Vivian frowned and tried to defend herself.

But when Vivian saw William’s uninterested look in his eyes, her desire to defend herself was suddenly

diminished, feeling sad for herself.

Angie continued her drama, “but I didn’t want to give up. I just wanted to see whether you are okay. I

waited at the gate for a while. Then the two of them showed up and mocked at me with the two security

guards. They said you wanted to break up with me and it was humiliating for me to plague you and not

to be willing to face the reality. William, I knew they were lying to me. Clearly, you love me the most.”

Angie said so, and was trying to lean on William.

After the previous incident, traces of struggle could be seen on the three women. It seemed that they

had a big fight.

Selina made an I-want-to-puke face to show her disgust for Angie. She glared at Angie, “Shame on

“Selina, stop making false accusation. People here will make their own judgments. I believe William will

sleeve. Angie avoided Selina and Vivian as though they were monsters that would harm her.

Selina rolled up her sleeves and said, “What the fuck! I can’t bear this anymore. You bitch!”

Selina thought, ‘If I hadn’t scared by her attempt to hit us with that car, I would have beaten her. If I

don’t beat her today, I am not Selina.

Angie was terrified. Seeing Selina clenching her fist, Angie quickly hid behind William.

Angie hated Selina. But she was really afraid of her since she was beaten by Selina last time.

When Selina was about to hit Angie, William became impatient. He grabbed Selina’s hand and said,

“Enough.”

For William, he was getting sick of all this stuff. He withdrew from the hospital to this place, yet he still

had to bear their noisy fight.

Selina turned her head and stared at Vivian, who was looking down and traces of coldness could be

seen on Vivian’s face.

“Forget it, Selina.” Vivian said in a light tone.

William glanced at Vivian.

Selina said angrily, “Vivian, Are you silly? Where is that determined Vivian a few minutes ago? If you let

her get away with this today, she won’t miss any chance to hurt you and Roe.”

Vivian kept silent for a while, and Selina was upset, stamping her feet on the ground angrily.

Angie raised the corners of her mouth with a smile, but said to William with tears, “William, I know you

still love me.”

William frowned and said, “you…”

Vivian cut William off by saying, “William, I don’t want you to get into our fight. But could you get me a

copy of the videotape of what happened at the manor’s gate just now?”

“Vivian, what do you want to do?” Angie’s voice quivered and even became a bit sharp.

“Be exposed to danger?” William was guessing what these words mean and suddenly looked at Angie

coldly with the look in his eyes like two icicles that could pierce into Angie.

Angie waved her hands and moved her head from side to side, terrified, and said, “No. I didn’t. You

can’t trust their version of the story easily without hearing mine.
