Everyone present was sure that Dustin and Tyler were definitely going to be killed.

Lord Barbenheim ruled over the west. Not only did he have a very strong foundation and lots of power, but he also controlled an army.

He could command the Western Forces and also had his own personal army.

If his personal army marched out, it could probably flatten the entire Dorset Mountain where the Lotus Sect was located.

No one understood how Dustin and Tyler could be so bold.

Lord Barbenheim scoffed.

"You did not bow when I arrived and dared to injure my personal guards. No one in all of the west is as brazen as you! If I don't make an example out of you, people will think they can disrespect me as well!" he said icily. He seemed ready to make his move.

"You don't have the authority to make me bow to you," Dustin said indifferently.

Lord Barbenheim's face turned stiff while everyone else watched in a daze.

How could Dustin say such a thing?

He was too bold!

Some of the people gathered admired Dustin and Tyler's bravado a little.

"Is that so?" Lord Barbenheim's laughter became colder. "I want to see if that's true!"

As he spoke, he made a signal and was ready to punish Dustin on the spot.

The opening ceremony of the martial arts competition was thus disrupted out of nowhere.

Right then, Elijah shot a pointed look at the members of the Lotus Sect.

"My lord, this is the Lotus Sect. These two men don't know what's good for them. The Lotus Sect will apprehend them for you to punish!" said the Grand Elder of the Lotus Sect, Jason Lowe, with a bow.

Elijah's thought process was simple.

He wanted to make himself look good and suck up to Lord Barbenheim.

As the Grand Elder said, this was the Lotus Sect.

Dustin was really not afraid of dying if he dared to show up here.

Only Dustin understood that Lord Barbenheim did not have anyone he could use here.

'The Lotus Sect is the most powerful organization in the west. It has many elite fighters and countless

members. This is their territory. They should be able to handle Dustin Fox,' Lord Barbenheim thought to himself.

The members of the Lotus Sect started to surround and close in on Dustin and Tyler.

Everyone else started to leave. They were afraid that they would just become collateral damage in this fight.

Henry and the others looked torn. After struggling over it for a while, several of them ran off. Only Henry and two other people stayed by Dustin and Tyler's side.

This changed Dustin's opinion of him.

There was a whistling noise, and a person appeared on each side of Dustin.

Madison was on his left.

Allison was on his right.

"You..."

Dustin looked stunned.

Madison was someone who prioritized justice and righteousness. He was surprised that she would come and help him.

As for Allison, he could not believe that she would endure this trial with him after what he had done to her.
